The Pentax MZ-3 Date is a very good 35mm SLR camera- compact, easy to use and has excellent metering and good autofocus. Perhaps a little basic compared to similarly priced cameras, but all important features are catered for. Produces consistently good results, perhaps money saved on features was spent on high-quality components?

Would recommend, although MZ-5N is cheap now it's being discontinued - MZ-3 appears to be rebadged MZ-5N with slightly improved metering and faster max shutter... (read more)
