    Good Points: Great location (Covent Garden)
    Friendly atmosphere
    Not pretentious in the slightest
    Amazing value for money (not cheap, but VALUE)
    The man himself is so approachable


    Bad Points: None!


    General comments: I often spend a fair amount on my hairdo, being a bit of a poseur!

    At the weekend it was my 40th (!) and my Sister decided I needed some proper pampering, so booked me into Stuart Phillips Hair Salon in Covent Garden. Now, if you don't know, Stuart does the hair for the BAFTA awards, TV Soap Awards, and various celebrities and celebrity Mags.

    I thoroughly expected to meet an arrogant and 'celeb' person, who really does very little hair work (like Nicky Clarke) and just ponces around charging the earth for nothing.

    How wrong was I?! He was on time (take heed Nicky Clarke), very approachable, funny, and made me feel totally at ease. Then came the Japanese Head massage, which was complimentary, which made me feel even more at ease!

    Sit down with Stuart, and he discusses what you want and what he recommends, what would suit your face shape, your colouring, and basically everything. He concentrates on YOU and you alone, and makes you feel that he treats all us clients exactly the same as he treats his 'celebs'. Truly a first.

    His hair cutting skills? Amazing! Brilliant technique. Flair. Fun. No wonder he is so successful! My hair has never looked and felt so good, with more compliments about it than ever before.

    BRILLIANT.

    And all that for well under a hundred quid, and that was for the man himself...his stylists are cheaper. But don't skimp...Book Stuart.

    BRILLIANT.

    Whoever you are, Popstar, TV star, Film star, Soap star, Bus driver. Receptionist. Housewife. Salesman/woman etc etc etc... WHOEVER you are, get down there now!
