Good Points: none.
Bad Points: No complaint procedure, slow or no response to customer's correspondence.
General comments: How my car was serviced reminds me to the case described by angelag. When car returned from the service I had suspicion that not all necessary work was done. It was 9000 miles service which should be carried as per car manufacturer specification. To be sure that all necessary work is done I informed on writing the driver, who came to pick up my car, what is listed in my car manual and what should be done in addition to what is included in service A on car prestige servicing web site description. When I got the car back I was assured by the same driver that I will get detailed invoice from prestige car servicing. Invoice I got from prestige car servicing did not contain details of work carried out. I asked for detailed invoice calling their phone line. It is my right to know for what I paid and I wanted to have documentation which showed that service is done as per car manufacturer scheme.I did not get any new invoice. I asked again for detailed invoice by regular mail sending letter to the address from original invoice. No response. I faxed the copy of letter and got response. I was assured that professional engineers checked everything in detail and all the necessary work what required by manufacturer was carried out by their garage. However the impressive list of work carried out was not signed. It listed among other that hand brake travel was adjusted and that rear screen wash was checked. The manufacturer of my car requires handbrake travel adjusted exactly after first 9000 miles. I suspected that it was not done because car returned from prestige service with handbrake handle working exactly the same. It went high during 1st year. I called dealer and they confirmed that is normal in this car and that is why manufacturer requires it to be adjusted during the 9000 miles service. Prestige did not do it unfortunately. I tried to complain. I couldn't find a complaints procedure on their web site. I send the fax again with complain and got no response after two weeks so far. I gave up and paid £50 in dealer ' s garage for adjusting handbrake travel. I was told that if I do not do it I could not claim any brakes warranty in the future.Returning to rear screen wash " it did not work in my car at all. I was about to report it to dealer. But according to the list I got from prestige car servicing it was checked. Seems engineer who serviced my car did not notice the fact that it was not working. They also done in new car ' engine flush '. As prestige garage informed me it is required by car manufacturer. I was charged additionally £25. When I asked why in new car where oil change is according to the scheme and no information in car ' s manual about recommended engine flush - I got no response from prestige car servicing. BTW other local garages are doing engine flush for £5-£7.Adding these additional costs - ' prestige ' service was more expensive than dealer ' s service and cost me a lot of stress.

When I queried the work they said needed doing, my contact became very unhelpful and told me I needed the work done and could get a second opinion. Some of the work they said needed doing I had never even heard of!
I said just do the service and bring the car back. They brought the car back with no paperwork - I just got a receipt via e mail saying service carried out but other details so to be honest, I don't even know what was done. They didn't even look at the work that I said needed doing an ...

Will from now on use dealer servicing instead of Prestige Car Servicing. May cost 20% more but I have the peace of mind that work is carried out by specialists, and I get free pick-up and delivery of a quality courtesy Car.

They collected my 2007 ford focus for a major service on 28/09/07. Not only did they save me over £100.00 on the ford price but they carried out the service, wash n vacumed my car and returned it to me all in one day in time for the weekend. I strongly recommend giving them a go, not only for the financial benifits but it just feels so nice not having to play the main dealers game.

Excellent service of Prestige Car servicing/ My car was collected and delivered at specified time and when it was returned it was spotless. It was nearly £65 cheaper than my last service with the main Fiat dealer. The only bad point was the delay in receiving the invoice.

Prestige Car Servicing is a fantastic service which I would highly recommend to anyone who is tired of having to jump a taxi to work after dropping off their car at the garage. I had my car collected early in the morning from work and then returned later that same day.
