    The Beds Direct sales dept were very helpful and friendly and the delivery was arranged and carried out promptly - I was happy THEN the wrong goods were delivered. Took far too long to arrange redelivery - we waited in and goods never arrived and then we were told that WE had the dates wrong which was a blatant lie. We were never called back as promised and had to do all the legwork to get the goods we had paid for! Finally our bed arrived but the pillows that i was persuaded to buy never arrived...two weeks passed still nothing. Only when I called them did they tell me they'd have to refund my money...I asked them why they hadn't contacted us and whether they would have just kept our money and our pillows if i hadn't called them! And any apology? None whatsoever! The 'customer service' agent couldn't wait to get me off the phone and hung up before i'd finished speaking...enough said!

    Appalling delivery service with Beds Direct! I ' ve ' received ' my mattress yesterday. The main entrance gate to my flats is on 1st level. The driver called my mobile to tell me I need to go outside and collect my mattress as he ' s not going to carry it up the stairs. I ' ve asked him politely "why" (sorry, but the whole point of home delivery is the goods are delivered to your door) but he was quite rude and told me he ' s not going to argue (?) with me for half a day over the phone and that ...

    The following information is with regards to a £40 debit made by beds direct, that we did not otherwise agree to and would like a refund.

    A representative from the delivery company called me at work to arrange delivery, I asked for the bed to be delivered in the afternoon of 20th March 2009 the day of exchange to move home.     I ordered an oak bedframe and bedside cabinet which arrived exactly on time. The beside cabinet was damaged, probably during transit but wasn't noticed by my son who took delivery. The bed was perfect and just what I ordered, I phoned Beds Direct the next day to ask for a replacement bedside cabinet and to order another one as well.     Purchased a mattress from Beds Direct in March 08 which had to be changed after 6 months because of poor quality. After a further 6 months the replacement is now so uncomfortable you get up more tired than when you went to bed!! £640 mattress and its no good after 6 months and Beds direct / Mattress 24 don't want to know.

    Not many of these, I fear. We ordered a Kyoto bed and two double Silentnight mattresses, and we did eventually receive them. Price was good, and they offered free delivery.
    We were given the impression that we wouldn't have to wait long for delivery. In fact our money was taken almost immediately, and we had to wait several weeks for the goods, having to sleep on a lilo on the floor.     I would not recommend anybody to buy anything from Beds Direct.

    I ordered a clearance bedstead from this firm. On the day of delivery I received a phone call from Beds Direct to say that only two of the three packages would be arriving as the other one had been temporarily lost by the couriers. The first two packages duly arrived and I was assured that the other package would be located and delivered the following day on an early delivery as I had to go to work.

    The bed I ordered from Beds Direct was meant to arrive within three days, but a delivery day was set 14 days after the order. I took a day off work and at 5.30pm got a phone call saying that they could not deliver. The bed arrived at 8.30am the next morning, but the delivery men refused to take it to the room of my choice, as stated on the website.     I ordered a quite expensive metal headboard from Beds Direct at end of March 2008 on an "up to 28 days unless we advise otherwise delivery". Heard nothing and queried after 4 weeks, 5 weeks and 6 weeks, finally received item after 7 weeks, with no assembly instructions, badly packaged, scratched and dirty and with no guarantee, or any other paperwork for that matter.     I was really impressed with the service from bedsdirect and I must say I'm really surprised with the other comments on here. I have used them 6 times now to furnish homes that I have been developing, as I'm a property developer, being able to get high quality items delivered on a day of my choosing at very competitive prices is absolutely essential. Bedsdirect have never let me down and I have recommended them to friends and family who have also had a great experience with them.

    Ordered bed of Beds Direct 7 weeks ago (original delivery estimate 4/5 wks.)
    Although they claim my bed is in stock?? (and they have had my cash for over a week), They are still failing to deliver it , or indeed to even give me a delivery date. Have sent e-mail of complaint to customer service manager, who replied making all the right noises, but still no delivery date.     Company apologised and promised a full refund. They then reneged on that promise, and withheld £30. They claimed that as I had signed for the goods the damage was my fault and that the amount they had refunded was only a gesture of goodwill. They refused all requests to refund my £30. I have no bed and am £30 worse of!

    The first mattress from Beds Direct was too small for the bed - we ordered king size and got a queen size. The delivery was delayed by two days and the company for delivery was not a good one. It took a week to sort it all out. Finaly we got our mattress. After six months it developed a fault, the stuffing came out and the material on the underneath split. Beds Direct refused to honour the guarantee. We are now pursuing it further. Leave it to your own imagination if you think it is wise to orde ...

    The order I placed with Beds Direct was delivered 4 weeks after I placed the order, but with the wrong mattresses. I contacted Beds Direct and informed them; they then contacted the delivery company, who confirmed that they had delivered the wrong mattresses, and I was told that the delivery company would contact me that day to arrange re-delivery of the mattresses I ordered.     I found Beds Direct to be an excellent company! I was quite sceptical, as I've had a bad experience with another company, so I was expecting a similar experience. However, I ordered my bed online on Thursday lunchtime, and I accepted the free next day delivery. The bed arrived the following day at 11am.
