“Do not buy this bike”

Bought one a year ago as it appeared ok and was cheap. Stupidly I didn't test ride it. The suspension is terrible, words cannot convey just how bad it is. It started fine at first but just got worse and worse. Went back to the dealer who said that they could find nothing wrong. With the onset of cold weather the starting became even worse. Missed my train to work many times as it just took so long to get started in cold weather. It's also very slow off the line and can only just out accelerate learners!! It's gone now thank goodness and has been replaced by a far superior Jap bike beginning with H. No more worries about starting and proper suspension. They shouldn't be allowed to sell bikes this bad.

You just have to read before buy. It is nice bike for begining. In cold time do not tuch accelerator when you start engine - it is carburator. Suspension is good inough for very light bike 106 kg. I ride it every day. I would like proper bike as well, something like burgman 650 or T-max 530. Compare it. 220 kg good start perfomance suspension and *goog price* 8500

I had this bike for a year now and done 12 clicks, cheap to run but when thing go wrong its a nightmare! If I had my time again I would have gone for something else.

Is there anyone else out there who has had a lot of problems with their piaggio fly moped.ours is just under a year old,bought new,and has spent more time in the last 6 months in the garage than it has on the road!

<br/>I purchase my fly 125cc in October 07. And I have so say that it is a great scooter, it starts first time every time. The only trouble I have had with it is the throttle cable snapped. But covered under warranty.

hate the fly. Starter motor goes and speedo cable, which I forgot about until I looked at your review! Switchs 5 now for brake lights, just a poor bike.
