Having had our house invaded with kids toys (as Im sure everyone does) we were looking for a highchair which had a mixture of looking a bit more 'grown up' (ie not yet another piece of plastic in the sitting room!) but was comfortable and practical for our baby.

Having researched a lot we chose the Svan high chair and I must say we're very, very happy with it. It looks like a nice piece of furniture rather than a horrible piece of tat stuck in the corner of your room. The covers are easy... (read more)

We were bought the svan high chair as a gift, thought we chose this particular highchair. It is quite expensive, though not as expensive as some of the new egg shaped highchairs, but we really wanted a highchair that matched our light wood furniture and that wasn't a big plastic monstrosity.

From day one we absolutely loved it! It comes as flat pack but is sooo easy to assemble and all the parts are so strong looking and sturdy that I've got no doubts about the quality.
