    Good Points: Nicely situated, friendly staff, shop stocks everything you could need, good quality.


    Bad Points: Have not found any yet.


    General comments: Tebay Services, between J38 and J39, M6 is the best service station by far. I have stayed overnight in my motorhome many times and am always happy with the experience. Good food, great farm shop and butchers, freindly staff, good dog walks.

    Whenever returning from the lake District, Tebay Services seems to be a natural stopping point for me.
    OK, I have to be honest when I say this place is not perfect (see the "Bad Points"), but the shop is at least well stocked. They also sell really nice farm produce here - it took a friend nearly 20 minutes to look around the shop.
    To be fair, this is a service station I'll be visiting quite a bit when I'm heading north.
