I have found making payments via internet is very expensive with Standard Bankas as opposed to Capitec and other banks. Capitec charges R1.50 per transaction as Standard Bank charges R18.30 per transaction.Has anyone else evre experienced that also ???… Read Full Review

Have been trying since Friday 24th June to access internet banking to no avail and nobody able to assisst or furnish reason as to why I cannot access internet banking let alone my account as I am in Saudi Arabia with no branch of Standard Bank available to complain to and transactions that need urgent attention. Easy to use.
Uptime better than most of the other banks.
Quality service when sending in queries.
Site is much quicker and more efficient than others.
I have no problems whatsoever if I have to use the help line.

Internet banking/Telephone banking what's the use? When it all goes wrong what you need is someone to help you. I have been trying to get someone to e-mail a reply to my question for 4 days now. It is with much disappointment that I write to you. I have an account at Tongaat viz Current Account and Home Loan. I made a claim aginst my home owners policy about six months ago. As there were constraints to my stay in SA in August I received permission to repair my house at my cost with a guarantee that i will be re-imbursed timeously. General security when using internet banking has improved over the years and that gives me as a client confidence in the system. Banking has become as easy as buying bread at the coner store.
