An entertaining action film, you'll have a blast if you just sit back and suspend your belief like you have to with all die hard films, this is fun.

Well if you want a good action movie and not minding if it can happen in real life or not then this movie is for you. But if you are a logical person then you would ask yourself many times in this movie "how on earth that happened" most of the time or "how could he possibly survive that" The bridge scene is the most unrealistic scene, Bruce fell about 20 feet from the truck to pure concrete and didn't have any sprain at all. Still a good movie for John Mclane fans.

I think that this film is too unrealistic; honestly a plane that hovers from mach 1 in a few seconds, then there's the bridge scene. Ok, you know what I mean when I say save the money and rent the DVD.

Die Hard hasn't changed much which I would have to say is a good thing. Don't fix something that isn't broke. Die Hard 4.0 is a modern Die Hard which has been put into today's world.

My comments may appear harsh but I judge all modern action flicks against John Mctiernans original (the benchmark in popcorn cinema), and this simply disappointed me.

If you go expecting a fast-paced action movie with good special effects but a plot that is over the top and a "hero" who is seemingly indestructible then that's what you'll see. In my view Die Hard 4.0 is an entertaining film similar to those that have gone before it. I enjoyed it and would recommend it but I wasn't expecting it to be any different to how it was.

This entry in the Die Hard series follows the previous trend of John McClain protecting/saving ever bigger terrorist targets (tower block --> airport --> city --> country). It makes you wonder what they could think of next? Die Hard 4.0 also brings the franchise bang up to date with the very current issue of our over-reliance on technology. Like the previous three films, the story rattles along at a rapid pace without every feeling too rushed. The stunts, of course, are bigger and better t ...

It is incredible that for an industry that spends so much money on dire projects, it finds it so difficult to spend it on what is the most important part , the writing. Without imagination and a good story and script we are being subjected to re-make after re-make. The re-make truely is the home of the simple minded.

Die Hard 4.0 is an extremely entertaining film. I have seen the other Die Hard films countless times and this was easily as entertaining as any of them, and I sat through the entire film without losing interest for a moment. There are loads of mouthwatering stunts and action scenes, the plot is deep and very much believable and overall it is just a quality film. One bad point is that there are loads of totally unrealistic moments. At one point a fighter plane is sent to kill Willis and this je ...

Bruce Willis 52 years of age and he's still got it. How many men can say that? He can still come onto our screens, kick some butt, get all dirty and covered in blood and have every girls heart pumping like mad.

If you want a really good action blockbuster of all time, with scenes that will keep you at the edge of your seat then Die Hard 4.0 - Live Free Or Die Hard is the best choice this year. See how the old-fashioned cow boy cop still says "Yippikayey", to all the bad guys, which translates from cow boy language as "Good-bye, bad guys." It's the best Die Hard Sequel all the way.
