    Good Points: Easy to empty crumb trayAttractive moveable dials.


    Bad Points: The sections did not go down deep enough, so most bread only came out half-toasted. It was slow and we had to re-heat the toast, even on the top number, as it never came out brown enough for our taste.The middle two sections stopped heating up at all just after the guarantee went out of date, so the toaster was then completely useless.


    General comments: Disappointing! The De Longhi Metropolis Toaster never made one really good slice of toast. It only lasted 13 months.

    I brought the De Longhi CTM2023 Metropolis 2 slice toaster along with the rest of the Metropolis collection. Very smart looking appliance and easy to use too.

    Other than the occasional piece of bread that pops out 'un-toasted' which really is very rare, I cannot fault this toaster.

    De Longhi on the other hand, I am not happy with due to their failure to help me with a problem with a different product of theirs, but that's another story.
