    Good Points: Good basic easy to use machine. It has all the usual programs plus a useful 15 minute quick wash. The delayed start timer was useful when I was in an all electric house with Economy 7.


    Bad Points: Spin speeds are fixed to the program. Although the maximum speed is 1200 this is only available on the cotton washes; all other options, including spin only, have a maximum of 800.


    General comments: This Bosch WAE 24260 is my second Bosch washing machine, now 18 months old. Nothing wrong with the last one (a five year old Maxx which I gave away when I moved), so for reliability Bosch was high on my list when I needed a new one. This model washes well but next time I'd look for one that had higher spin speeds on more programs.
