    Good Points: Easy to carry
    powerful vacuum
    versatile mains or battery


    Bad Points: cost
    early failure of transformer under 12 months


    General comments: The Dewalt DC500 has a very compact and robust design but built with second rate parts not up to the job .left it switched on not running and power transformer broke under no load conditions.
