I am endorsing all Braun razors that use the regular system (compare to rotary heads used by Philips, amongst others). Even though a lot of the Braun razors can use water to wash and some to actually shave, buyer beware. I was told that the heads get used more often and need to be replaced of course. The shave might be closer though. Anyway, the old system works for me. I have had Braun razors for about 10 years and I don't get the rash Philips razor gave me. Both did the job of shaving though. But the rash was a pain, literally and figuratively. BTW, I took care of the Philips shaver well, using all recommended parts, procedures, and products. I have read that other Philips razor users have had rash. I wonder how many have been unhappy.

Excellent razor. Very close shave. Have to apply a little pressure for very stubborn parts. One of the best I have used.

Best electric shaver and I`ve tried several brands and formats. Good point, Provides an excellent shave quickly. Bad points, alcohol cleaning function. Shaver hard to release from the tub.

I had a Braun shaver similiar to this one that worked very well, the 8595 that replaced it just doesn't perform as well as my old one.

It shaves pretty close but I think it would do better if it was cleaned, I got it for free :} no operators manual.

Had this Braun 8595 Activator Mains Rechargeable Shaver now about five months, so I'm well used to it and feel qualified to give an honest review. I shave every day of the week and like everyone else I hate it, so spending a fourtune on a cool electric razor seemed to make the whole chore not so boring. Won't bore you with details, you already know this razor costs a lot and cleans itself, that appears to be common knowledge. the most important thing is how well does it shave you and how close d ...

Braun 8595 Activator Mains Rechargeable Shaver - All in all it seems that this design is a "winner." Shop for the best price, since it varies all over the place. The unit is very easy to use with very little to read. The shaving results are definitely as good as a blade.

The Braun Shaver is not the cheapest on the market. And if you are like me, some things I hate paying for, but this little jewel is worth the money. I tend be somewhat demanding on a very close shave, but I hate using blades that tend to cut and bleed me too often. Mach 3's are nice, but they slice you up too easily. I had a braun system a few years back, but the electric wasn't as good as I had hoped. I made up my mind to try the best and most expensive one out there.

The cut of this thing ...
