    Bought one almost 2 years ago. Same problem as reviewers below.Bread wont't stay down but pops up. This is the 3rd time with same problem. Has been fixed and replaced on warranty since it has been only about 6-8 months between breakdowns. Useless.

    Same as other reviews... bought two of these expensive machines for different places.. both broken with same problem... wont hold the toast down.. too expensive to repair

    I bought this Bosch TAT8SL1GB Solitaire toaster approximately 18 months ago, now the hold down lever won't stay down and is effectively useless. I thought buying Bosch would have meant reliability, small electrical repairers don't want to know, so it's £90.00 in the bin after 18 months

    My Bosch TAT8SL1GB is 1 year old and now will not work any more, it refuses to hold the toastLuckily I will get a replacement under warranty.

    I bought this model from John Lewis because I thought it was reliable and looked good. Guaranteed for 2 years. After a year it broke and was repaired under guarantee, now again a year later it has broken again. Although it was replaced they will not gurantee it. Cost to repair up to£40.00 so not worth the money in my books.
