    Good Points: Looks good

    Bad Points: Expensive... LEAKS!!!

General comments: After looking at reviews to replace the Dualit with another kettle I now realise that many people have had the same problem with the kettle leaking from the bottom onto the electrical base unit... as the Dualit is one of the more expensive brands is it too much to expect more than 2 years use from it?

We've had our Dualit 72302 about 2 years, but the filter disintegrated very early on, and no replacement has ever been sent, despite repeated emails / calls. It now leaks copiously from the bottom of the plastic viewing window, all over the electrical connector on the base unit. Not a great buy.

I won't buy another Dualit 72302. To spend this much money and have it leak within 13 months is a waste.

Don't waste your money. Get a better brand for more reliability, there are plenty of other cordless kettles on the market, and none can be as poorly designed and backed as this one.

I liked the style of this kettle, and as it is only supposed to boil water, didn't really think that it's design needed to extend farther than that! How they would not test to see that the design was not fit-for-purpose is beyond me. Any kettle which leaks from the bottom and gets too hot to touch is not designed well at all. I would stay away from this make and buy Morphy Richards' 43015 manhattan instead - which is what we replaced the Dualit with - an excellent kettle both in looks and des ...
