my daughter bought this product less than a year ago and last night the base gave way to a large crack in the edge of the wood luckily my granddaughter wasnt injured.she is small for her age and is of a petite build and hasnt been sleeping in it very long. it is very concerning that this could happen so easily. We ordered the Bibi Cot Bed for our 6 week vacation in London. Our little boy is a year and a half old. We wired money, sent the address details of the apartment hotel by email and verified everything by telephone twice. Delivery was assured for our arrival day. To our horror we arrived but the bed did not. Mamas and Papas shipping department butchered the address and telephone number so badly that the courier could not find the address. Mamas and Papas were terrible. We ordered the bed paying 260 pounds plus 20 for next day (Thursday) delivery as we had our grandson coming to stay.
It did not arrive as it had been sent to teh wrong depot!!!
We were told that there was NOTHING THEY WOULD DO but would deliver the next day (Friday).
They only delivered the base and the sides however the next day. We complained. They said that there was NOTHING THEY WOULD DO. They did say they would deliver the missing pieces after the weekend....

We bought the Mamas & Papas Eloise for our grand daughter. It was very easy to assemble and very sturdy. When she was older, we converted it to a cot bed. She is now almost 5 and fast outgrowing it. It has been an excellent buy. Very sturdy, good suppoertfor a young child, and a very good purchase. With hind sight we could have shopped around for a cheaper price. (read more)

Excellent, well built sturdy cotbed. My daughter is now 19 months and is tall for her age but can't get out of it. Whereas she can get out of the Ikea cot at my mums. Was bad when she was a newborn as it has 3 changeable levels but the highest isn't high enough, I'm 5,8 and it gave me back ache lifting her in and out, could've done with a drop bar. Great, will be using it as a junior bed soon. Looks smart and posh compared to some cots I've seen, has stood the test of time so far! (read more)

The Mamas and Papas Eloise cot/bed from www.babyunique.co.uk is outstanding value for £135.
It has a 3 postion base which is really handy! A great modern look, and it also looks great as a bed.

Mamas and Papas I agree are terrible. I bought a cot bed for my grandaughter expecting it to last until she was six. It fell apart when she was only 2. Mamas and Papas stated that there was nothing wrong with it - but all the screws fell out of the holes - the wood was not strong enough to keep the screws fixed and to hold it up. They totally refuse to do anything about it and state they never say that the bed would last - ITS A COT BED - one to grow into!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM MAMAS AND PAPAS they do not care about their customers. They do not make this Horizon Cot Bed any more - WHY!!!!
