Good Points: Food sensational, ataff impeccable, cleanliness faultless. You are waited on hand and foot.
Bad Points: Cost of excursions is quiet expensive.
General comments: Airtours Cruises, Sunbird - Never cruised before until we went on Sunbird in 2001. It was out of this world, the most fantastic holiday ever. Now want to book another on Sunbird. Definitely 10 out of 10.

Sunbird is a great ship, we sailed on the sunbird on our first cruise and have sailed with her three more times. We will sail on her again but this time it will be the destiny? The captains were great, as were the
crewe. A truly nice sailing ship.- Read George Kenny's review (52 words)

Airtours Cruises, Sunbird:
I had never considered a cruise holiday before until friends of ours cajoled us into going with them. I had always thought of a cruise holiday as something you did whilst passing time waiting for god.
How wrong I was, I couldn't have been more surprised at the mixed age range aboard the ship and differing types of entertainment to cater for all tastes. You can more or less please yourself on this type of holiday from relaxing on board during the day, spend the ...- Read auss's review (200 words)

Sunbird is a great ship with friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Fantastic food and a great idea to have all inclusive drinks package, but only for the first week or you may find you are constantly inebriated! If you can do try to get seated at the staff captains table because he buys the wine! Although the ship can accomodate up to 1500 passengers it never seems crowded. Pleasnty of sun beds - always.
Antigua is a very beautiful island. We took our one and only excursion on this island to en ...- Read lynneparrott's review (312 words)

The Itinerary on Airtours Cruises was st lucia : very pleasant island but steep roads! barbados:great island the beaches was great if you went there I would recommed to go on the local buses as they play out regge music on the bus and the fares are very cheap! Dominica:the island is dogey I advise you to stick to near the ship if you go ashore independant. We went whale and dolphin watching we saw about 3 or 4 whales! and loads of dolphins. If your an animal lover i recommend this tour!

The Airtours Cruise on the Sunbird was our second cruise. The first was on the Thomson Spirit in the Med. last June. We found the Sunbird a larger ship than the Spirit and very impressed with the standard of the public rooms.
We checked our cases in at Manchester airport and the next time we saw them was outside our cabin door on the ship, this was great.
On arrival in the Dominica Republic we were taken from the plane and put onto busses for embarkation on the Sunbird.
on entering the ship w ...- Read tonyp's review (604 words and 1 comment)

This is our 3rd consecutive cruise on the Sunbird around the Caribbean Sea and althouigh the weather was probably the worst that we have experienced most of the Islands that we visited were the best we have seen. We arrived in Barbados opn Sat Jan 31st and spent the first few days in Tobago, Grenada and Dominica these were beutiful Islands and our experience was so good that we want to spend more time their exploring and miuxing with the residence.
Unfortunatly Martinique is just too FRENCH and ...- Read Dusty Miller's review (284 words)

Airtours Sunbird was very clean and spacious ship. Lot's to do on board, although the children do not seem to want to keep to the pool they are meant to be in and this can be a pain. Food excellent although other cruises I have been on, there has been food available all day and most of the night and this one only serves at specific times. Cabins small but well designed with lot's of storage space. Drinks on board very well priced. I would go on this ship again with a different itenery than Wes ...- Read jayrnr's review (138 words)
