    Good Points: Dishes come sparkling clean


    Bad Points: Silverware basket isn't deep enough.


    General comments: In the past year, I have returned two Kitchen Aid dishwashers and one Kenmore dishwasher from Sears. I was shocked to find how Kitchen Aid had cheapened their product so much since I purchased my first one over 20 years ago. In desperation, I choose a Bosch. I have read the reviews on your site, but my gut feeling said to give them a try. So glad I did. I noticed that some were purchased a few years back and also noticed since my first purchase of the Kitchen Aid, that the entire line of Bosch dishwashers had been redesigned. I loved the new look! However, my question was - "how well will it clean? Will it last?"

    I purchased the middle of the line which had almost as many features as the most expensive one, except it had the controls on the front. The price was about $200 cheaper.

    All I can say is that I love it! I read my manual, which is what I highly recommend you do if you purchase the Bosch dishwasher. There are things you can do with the controls which are very important (i.e., program it to rinse at 161 degrees).

    Every load since I purchased my dishwasher have come out absolutely spotless! The dishes are so bright and not one spot! This dishwasher performs better than my Kitchen Aid I bought over 20 years ago! The stainless steel tub looks like new after every wash, as well. The thing is solid as a rock. Very well built!

    I urge anyone who is contemplating purchasing a new dishwasher to buy a Bosch and READ YOUR MANUAL. I recommend that you buy the at least the one starting at midrange price - around $879 or better. You won't be sorry!

    I've called my salesperson at Sears twice to rave about this dishwasher. I've offered to come to the store to give a testimonial to anyone who would listen. No, I don't work for Bosch - but wish I did. As the old saying goes, you have to believe in what you are selling, well, believe me I do!
