    Good Points: Simple clean design with built in extras like bottle holders and food containers which you can use or fold away. Quiet in operation - it is not silent, but no more than a reassuring purr that it is working! Very good value for money.


    Bad Points: So far nothing dire! The pictorial built-in instructions are next to useless, but its not that hard to puzzle it out. I do have several bits I could not find a use for and you would have to be Houdini to fit the rear mounting brackets! More amusing than serious.


    General comments: I had a Brandt freezer that was quite expensive which failed due to unidentified control problems. Repairing would have cost £200+ with no gaurantees. So I was looking for an inexpensive replacement. The Hotpoint HM315NI cost £275 including delivery and removal of the Brandt corpse! A bargain. This model is not frost free, but this seems to add £100+ to the cost with mixed reviews on effectivenes, plus it must reduce efficiency. So far very happy.

    A part on my Hotpoint HM315NI fridge arrived broken it is nearly four weeks now and we are still having difficulties getting hotpoint replacement. Hotpoint appears not to be very customer friendly and have made contacting them extremely difficult I feel. Bottle rack and other little gadgetries are incredibly difficult to use. Design and ease of use were not given much attention. Waste of time and money for these extras. The door shelves -have only been using this fridge for less than a week a ...
