There were 6of us and we all enjoyed the main meal. Some of us were dissappointed disappointed be told that there was no Apple pie due to none being delivered. I must say that this was the first time that this has happened and the only reason that it was given 4stars. Thanks server was very apologetic.

We eat here on a regular basis and always have had an excellent meal, the staff at the Woodpecker are extremely efficient and friendly, We have never had to wait very long for our mealws even when the restaurant is full, which i have to say is pretty much all the time , which goes to show the level of service and food in this restaurant. Keep up the good work

Myself and a friend went for dinner at the flagstaff, this was the second visit the first being a total disaster, the waitress was rude, extremely slow and when I complained she said it wasn't her problem. The following day I called and complained and was told that it was this girls last day, that to me did not excuse her behaviour. The lady I spoke with was really nice and she sent me a voucher for £15.00, myself and the same friend have been again tonight (Friday) what a change the service was fantastic, the waitress and the guy behind the bar were really really nice, they served us with a smile was so polite and couldn't do enough to help, the food well it was delicious, we had main and starter and I could not see any room for improvement, it was quite busy but we didn't have to wait to long for our food. Our surroundings were very pleasant and everything was what I hoped for. Thankyou.

We eat out at Brewers Fayre very regularly because it makes us feel part of their happy family. Everyone there takes the time to ask how we are and then when we are eating they always ask how we are liking the food, but they are never intrusive. The staff appear keen to work there and keen to make a good impression upon their customers. It is obvious that they are working as part of a good team and are proud to be doing so. They are respectful to older people too - and there are plenty of that group - my husband and I being part of the group (ha. ha). Altogether I would recommend any of my friends to go there to eat, as the food is fresh, tasteful and good value for money. I do not have any dislikes at all. My husband and I are happy and contented customers, and always will be.

We eat here at least once a month. It's great for parking. It's clean with no background odours. The staff are usually pleasant but workmanlike and not over friendly as a rule. We ate here today and there was a staff shortage in evidence. It's usually much fuller yet we have always been served in an acceptable time frame. People arriving after us were being served ahead and after mentioning it to staff our meals arrived with

It has only come to our notice during the past couple of months that we had a good restaurant on the doorstep. Being so close to the M42 it is not readily noticeable but having been recommended by a friend we gave it a try and were truly delighted with the experience. the atmosphere of the restaurant is quiet, small alcoves for romantic evenings, larger areas for families. decor is neutral with acents to give definition to the surroundings. the choice of menu is quite extensive, may not win awards for culinery excellence but for value for money and variety it is excellent and always well presented. Service on the occasions we have dined there has been excellent, awareness of customer comforts and needs are well met and attention to detail above the average for this type of restaurant. It has to be noted that not all things go to plan and we have witnessed hiccoughs but the staff response has been quick to resolve the problem and always with a smile. Would i return to this restaurant? yes and recommend it to friends and family

Although warned there would be an hour's wait, in fact it only took 15 minutes. The waitress made sure we were aware of several items which were no longer available on the menu BEFORE we started to make our choices. The waitress couldn't have been more helpful or friendly, and the food was hot and well presented. We were asked if everything was OK, about a third of the way into our meal, and also asked if there was anything else we required. When it came to requesting a hot chocolate and what milk was on offer, the waitress asked what we would like, and was very amenable. Although the restaurant was extremely busy, we were not made to feel rushed, and everything went very smoothly indeed.

We visited this BF on our way back form a holiday in Cornwall, so needed a good place to stay and eat. the closeness to premier Inn sold it to us. when we arrived we were greeted by a friendly face, asked if we'd visited before and had everything explained to us about the food and the special offers available. Either there is a really good customer service training course Brewers Fayre run or the manager of this site has excelled in training their staff. The offer of the night was an "Eat as much as you can" fish and chip night, fish, chips, bpies, sausage, peas, curry, gravy, and a drink for £7.99, all fresh and, even though probably bulk purchase, still very nice. My wife ate of the menu (not literally) and enjoyed her choice, and my four year old was treat like a princess, with a colouring book offered whilst her ham pizza arrived. What made the night, was the service offered to another table where unfortunately after an accidental spillage the service offered (and aplogies) was second to non. Breafast followed and again, the service was exemplary, explanantions given of what was on offer and what to do to order our "eat as much as you can" brekkie. Smiling, friendly staff make the world of a difference to ane ating experience.

A great Sunday lunch served by staff who looked as though they cared. It was very busy and I can understand why if everyone got the same service as my wife and me. First time I have been in a Brewers Fayre for years and it looks like I may visit again soon.
Would recommend to family and friends

Ate at Craigside Inn, Llandudno two nights running as the food was so delicious. Excellent value for money, got 2 meals for £8! Don't think i could have made the food for that. Had the guest pie (steak & kidney) which looked like someone had just hand made an individual pie just for us, as opposed to usual catering mass-manufactured type pie which pubs usually serve. Pub was spacious and clean and so were the toilets. Staff were welcoming and friendly and made us aware of any offers that were available. Will definitely go again. Keep up the good work.

Just visited The Hartshead Inn in Mossley for the first time and i was pleasantly surprised knowing it was part of the Brewers Fayre chain. It was really nice and its a massive pub/restaurant. Nicely decorated and clean. We were greeted at the door and taken to a table, once at the table looked over the vast menu and then went to the bar to pay and order food and drinks, staff were more than helpful and friend, my friend ordered something which they run out of and asked for something else which they didn't normally serve on a Sunday but they said they would make an exception which was nice. Staff were friendly and attentive at all times. Even when we were the last people in the restaurant when everyone had left they didn't ask us to leave and were more than friendly when we did.
Lovely place to eat very relaxed with nice food and friendly staff...will defiantly be going again!

When I come back from University, my friends and I always choose the Brewers Fayre at Ashton Moss as a place to meet. The food is really nice and they have a wide range of different meals to suit individual palates. It is reasonably priced and the staff, which have waited on us, are always pleasant and helpful and sometimes have a joke with us because at certain times of the year when we are all back we become regulars! It's also great to come in for a drink as they have an area specifically for it inside and also 9 or so benches outside for when it's hot. Really like going here and because its situated next to the cinema, it's normally got a few people in having their tea before or after their film. Good food, and a good atmosphere.
You can also use your Nectar Card here and if you want to relax and not pay for your meal before you've eaten it, they will swipe your card for you so you can decide if you want desert later, without having to leave you seat, and also add drinks to your bill as you go along. Pleasant place! I would definitely recommend.

We have had many an enjoyable meal at the Tanglewood in York, and have taken friends and family for special treats as well as "just our tea". I have recommended it on many occasions.

We have just read the positive comments made by the person who visited The Craigside in Llandudno. Our experiences so far have not been satisfactory. We have eaten there ourselves as we live nearby and were really disappointed at the state of the place, sticky carpets, wallpaper peeling off and the whole place looking very run down. It is such a beautiful building and in a good location, it would be brilliant if it was up to a better standard. We have a B&B and our guests, ( including families), always ask for places to eat within walking distance but we are reluctant to mention the Craigside, as we feel quite embarrassed to send guests there. However we do mention it but we are obliged to point out the decor too, so they have a choice. We prefer to mention the Afon Conwy which is far better. We have written to Brewers Fayre and the reply was that a new chef was being appointed and the whole place was up for refurbishment, whenever that will be. Our guess it will be at the end of the season. It is such a shame that the place seems as though it has been 'let go' so much. We would love to recommend a local eating pub to our guests as there aren't them many nowadays, especially in our locality.
As we are new to the area we don't know the history of the Craigside but we have recently been told that the pub used to be really good, with a large play area for children, ( like other pubs in the chain), so a very popular pub, back then.
The food price is fair but it's a case of you get what you pay for.
We have yet to meet anyone that has said a good word about eating there.
As a service to tourists, it's important that we can recommend places to eat, particularly those that want to walk and have a drink and those with families who don't want to go too far. Then we feel that they will fully enjoy their stay in the area of Llandudno and will feel happy to come back.
So we say, "Come on Brewers Fayre, we know you can do better than this!"
