LOOKS NICE BUT BOTTOM OVEN BREAKS DOWN ONCE A YEAR AND REQUIRES A NEW ELEMENT COSTING WITH LABOUR OVER £100.00. OVEN PURCHASED IN 2006 WITH A 2 YEAR GUARANTEE SO NO COST INVOLVED FOR THE FIRST REPAIRS. I ONLY USE THE OVEN ABOUT TWICE A WEEK SO NOT IN REGULAR USE BUT HAS JUST BROKEN AGAIN. THE ELEMENTS ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT MADE TO LAST, HENCE THE PARTS ARE A RIP OFF. (read more)

Buy a new element from e-spares - part number ES507407 - they only cost £20 including next day delivery! Fitting is easy, following the usual safety precautions isolating power, removal of a few screws and bobs your uncle!

I will never by a Zanussi cooker again ,we have owned it 5 years and had 3 elements and now the thermonstate had gone,Im just glad i can carry out the repairs myself as the call out chardge is about 90 pound what a rip off. (read more)

Had this double oven for 4 yrs now and had to have the bottom oven repaired twice. Each time it has neede a new fan and a new element. This has cost over a hundred pounds each time for the repair.
Currently have the oven and only using the top one as th bottom one is in need of repair again. Wouldn't recommend (read more)

I have vowed to never buy another Zanussi product having spent £500 on this Zanussi ZUF270X (bought new) and it breaking down 8 months out of guarantee.
I now have the choice of paying for possible costly repairs or taking out an extended warranty- something I totally disagree with. With advances in technology, I would like to know why out of the 4 appliances I purchased 20 months ago ,2 have broken down (my Indesit washer/dryer twice in that time!) This Zanussi ZUF270X Electric Double Oven top oven/grill was not usable after installation due to a manufacturing fault. The top oven control could not be operated, it was so stiff that the the knob broke. Zanussi sent a replacement knob which did not cure the problem and was a lighter color than the cooker. The main oven knob now does not push back flush with the cooker front, after only two weeks. Zanussi's customer service have been useless, we still have not got a replacement cooker... (read more)
