    Good Points: Pyrolytic cleaning; wow, it's worth the extra monies just to get this superb time-saver. Smooth control panel that's easy to clean. Dual oven lights that stay on during cooking so you can see progress. Easy wipe clean stainless steel exterior. Easy to dismantle and clean glass door.


    Bad Points: Non-stick shelves; non-stick coating appears to be poorly applied.


    General comments: Other than some minor negatives the AEG B8871-4-M is one of the best ovens I've ever owned. On negative is the control panel icons; one major icon change (on the version 5 model) that's been a change for the worse as there's now two icons (i.e. oven functions) that are exactly the same (only a small icon that appears on the other side of the display now distinguishes between the two modes of operation.) It's easy to live with but should have been left as it was on the v4 model for operational clarity. Well done AEG/Electrolux.

    Very impressed with AEG ovens and in paticular this AEG B8871-4-M. In my new home I put their large combi steam oven B9820-4m and pyrolytic oven B9871-4m. I love love them both!
