Had mine for about 3 years or more. 2 years in an unheated, freezing garage and the last year inside. I Keep it at 18 degrees and it does the job of freezing our bulk food through both summer and winter and wherever its located. Never had one hiccup. On the strength of this freezers performance I bought a Beko F/F which is just as reliable and keeps the top cabinet cold enough to keep its contents fresh.(unlike my previous more expensive one) Oh, to have milk again that never goes off! Only downside is the drawers are on the cheap side and the front panels have split on a couple of them. All in all, for the price paid and the fact that this appliance actually WORKS, I realistically accept the less than perfect build quality. Readers should know by now that ALL consumer goods have good and bad reviews and buying over the internet is a lottery.Beko nowadays are no worse or better than others...Just cheaper and more basic, that's all...

Product unreliable and lacking a reasonable service life. Outward product design seemed good, and overall visual appearance satisfactory. A great disappointment however, failing just before Christmas, which meant the loss of the whole freezer contents, the loss of cooling as per the other reviews, seems to indicate a common design and or quality control problem in design or construction. I have replaced it with another manufacturer's brand. I have never experienced "white Goods" with such a poor service life. I will not be purchasing this brand again.

Bought this freezer in 2008. Seemed pretty good....does what a freezer is supposed to do, although the drawers are very brittle and awkward to fit.
Today...3 years after purchase it has defrosted completely and ruined the contents of the freezer....
So... i understand that in our throw away society nothing last forever, but 3 years???????
I will be taking out an extended warrenty and upgrading to a more expensive brand next time.
What do they say? Buy cheap , buy twice!!! Piece of sh....rubbish!

This Beko TZDA524F seemed a good product which was well priced. However, freezer compartment doors cracked whilst still in guarantee and the freezer itself now just out of grarantee powers on but food is soft and therefore unsafe.
