Good Points: Musicality! Makes CD sound more pleasant without a warm effect. Deep bass and clarity mids, right emotions. Intelligent highs. Build quality.

Bad Points: May be very sensitive in mids - sometimes "balanced on the razor blade"- depends on qulity of recording and signal source, the instruments can to loss a "body" and vocalists a "breast". But may be it is a pay for clarity.
May be slightly uncontrolled in bass. Not a widest stage.
    Price.

General comments: Keep in mind, the cable has a long "burn-in" period, at least, 70 hrs, and don't touch it at all after connecting to your equipment, at least four weeks before your'll make your verdict.
The white sticker recommends to connect to the source, but you should try a reverse position to find the best or change the power cord position in outlets (if you can).

Heartly recommend to Music lovers; Sound lovers - try before you buy.

The Van Den Hul D102MkIII has been in my system for more than ten years and I've never even considered changing it!

bought this one almost three years ago and was very
happy to get clear bass and solid middle.
since three months ago using "the first" which brought
me what 102 was missing - great bass and profine treble
but sill .. .102 is a top runner for middle priced range
    (less than 100 pound mark)
