Good Points: At The moment cant think of any
Bad Points: everything especially hood and music stand
General comments: I bought the Silver Cross 3D - Pistachio Stroller as silver cross is supposed to be the rolls royce of prams but in my case its a bit of a ladder. in 3 mths we have had 3 new hoods and a broken chassis. i always release the back handles and use music stand so I do not think it is that.

For those who have had problems then that's the reason you have posted, as with anything people will always post bad points about things on the internet and those who don't have a problem wont bother. The pushchair is really easy to put up and down and those who say it takes up a lot of room or barely fits in their boot - why didn't you check it actually fitted first? A lot of baby shops will do this, mothercare, babies r us.

I'd say the bad points about the Silver Cross 3D Pistachio Stroller are that I always bump into things in shops as turning cycle isn't great, and the pram is soooooooo heavy it's a chore for me to get it in and out of the car, plus i drive a 307 and it pretty much takes up the boot space. .......think thats it .....oh and the brackets bent underneath and it doesn't close or open and lock properly so sometime you hit a gutter and it folds up, the shop i brought it from stated it was a common prob ...

I was bought a Silver Cross 3D Pistachio Stroller by my inlaws who believe that because they had one and theirs was excellent, which i can believe, i had to have one. I found it too heavy to lift in and out of car, when attaching the foot warmer i was unable to pop the poppers, and even my mum found this hard, and she's a strong lady. Poor for price!

I feel cheated with the Silver Cross 3D - Pistachio Stroller. It's not exactly cheap and like others have said you think Silver Cross, Hmmm must be good! It feels rickety to me when I push it and is impossible to steer with one hand. I feel it is ridiculous that I can't get the raincover on when it's in travel system mode and the basket is a total waste of time. I think the whole thing is a lot of faffing around to be honest.
I had to send mine back to Silver Cross to have extended harnesses fit ...

I work for a retailer that sells the silver cross 3D and there is no problem with the design of the chassis at all, the problems that people are having with the pushchair not folding or coming up properly are all down to the fact that they are not being folded correctly. you must always pull the handle first on the back before you release the bars at the front, any pressure on the back bar will result in problems either straight away or from slightly bending it over time, this is why some peopl ...

Having read all of the comments on here about the Silver Cross 3D Pistachio Stroller I have to totally disagree about the putting up and taking down of the 3d, I find it very very easy, however I do agree it is very heavy to put in and take out of car boot, and heavy when the car seat is attached but other than that I have found no problems!

Been using mine for 18 months now and have had no problems. I have a few friends with the same pushchair who have also had no problems so I don't think that some peoples claims that they have a weak chassis can be justified.

I like the Pistachio Stroller as my daughter looks really comfortable in it, she always falls asleep. I like the fact that the car seat clips easily on to the 3d.
I did have some problems putting the pram up and down at first which resulted in having to take it back to the shop to get it repaired. The women in the shop (Mothercare) showed me how to put it up and down when I bought it and again when I took it to be repaired. Which was the same way I had been doing it all along. Once I looked at t ...

Silver cross was once good pram makers, after having the silver cross 3D pistachio, this pram should be taken of the market shelves. There is too many faulty ones, and that is put a child in danger.

Having used the Silver Cross 3D pram system for some time can I say that I have had no problem with the quality of the product. I bought mine from Baby on Board in Bishop Auckland (a high street shop) rather than the internet because you don't get a Silver Cross warranty on line. I had a full demonstration from the lads in the shop which went over everything from folding the pram up, to putting the raincover on. I have to admit I only got about 4 months in the pram position but now its convert ...

Far too heavy to put up and collapse.Wheels have a mind of there own, continuously bumps in to fixtures and shelves in shops even when pushing with two hands.Back-breaking to lift in and out of car boot (and I am 5'9 and of good build).Parasol totally useless, bent and would not stay in position.Harness does not fit our baby once she reached a year old.

Well I like every one else struggled for a while to try and put the pushchair up on my own. It takes two of us to get the pushchair up. I found it very cumbersome to get in and out of the boot of the car. Then just when I thought I'd put up with it., a rivet that holds one of the tension bars underneath the pram sheared in two. They have had a lot of these faulty frames apparently. Now I need to get it fixed but I didn't buy it from a shop, so I don't have a receipt to send it back for repair. ...

At first glance when this is up in the shop in pram mode you just fall in love as the liner is beautiful. It is reasonably light to push and the handles are great for shopping. It is sturdy and reliable. The bad side of this travel system emerges when baby is older and you make the transition to buggy. The back fold handle thing is dreadful. Unfortunately for me I had my 3d used as a leaning post by a very old man lining up in a very long bank queue. When I got home, the back was all bent and it ...

I would not recommend the Silver Cross 3D - Pistachio Stroller to anyone, I have had non-stop problems and my son has used the pram only a handful of times.

The Silver Cross 3D - Pistachio Stroller not easy to put up and fold down, clumsy. Cosy toes does not stay in place, it slips down. The umbrella is not easy to adjust. The pram liner is too small. My son outgrew it at 3 months. On hot days, the pram liner did make him sweat. The pushchair seat is not very well padded. With the car seat attached the pushchair it is heavy to push, especially when baby gets heavier it's very top heavy and have to steer very carefully on unlevel pavements, otherwise ...

Tension on the hood has caused fraying on both sides. all the screws fell out of one of the footrests and it came off.
When the footmuff is in place it leaves the shoulder area quite tight and my baby is not yet 6 months. However, because the retailer Kiddicare would not provide me with satisfactory aftercare, Silver Cross are sorting the problem out.

I bought my Silver Cross 3D pram from Glasgow Pram Centre, where the staff were very unhelpful, and said it was because of the way I was putting it up, even though I showed then in the shop I was doing it correctly. I am now going through Consumer Direct. Silver Cross have admitted they have lots of these returned due to the faulty frames.
