Good Points: Great apartment dog, as they don't need a lot of exercise. Not yappy, but good watchdog. Great with other dogs and cats. Social, good with children. Happy-go-lucky personality. Very loving.
Bad Points: Lots of fur, need to be brushed out at least 1x month to avoid matting. Because of the fur, there is dander, so this breed wouldn't be for those with animal allergies.
General comments: I have two Keeshonds, and they are very good, obedient and adaptable animals. Their joy is simply to be around people, giving and receiving love and attention.
