    Our family had our Peke Suki for 12 years and she was the most wonderful dog ever. She was obedient, happy, playful and very very funny at times. She slept most of the day while we were at school and my mam and dad worked and played with us in the evenings. She had wonderful little quirks like eating frozen peas (only discovered after mam dropped a bag on the floor!), she would hide her bones (biscuits ones) ontop of the skirting boards balanced on thier ends against the wall - behind the sofa! Very strange. She was just the best.. she was excellent with her toileting and rarley messed inside (only if she was ill - which was very rare). She would come on holiday with us too and loved walks, especially the beach. She wasn't allowed upstairs but she would wait until dad left for work then we would hear her scamper up the stairs and launch herself onto the bed. I'd grab her and pull her into the bed with me where we would snooze together until it was time to get up!!We have so many happy memories of her and we were devastated when she died.. but we gave her a good life and she enhanced and played a huge part in ours. Miss you Suki and you've been gone for over 15 years. Jox

    I've owned my Pekingese for about a year now and he is the most amazing little dog I've ever met. He is about 4 years old, I rescued him from a shelter. He is not yappy and aggressive like some small dogs, but not timid either. He will bark if someone knocks on the door but otherwise he is quiet. He is very reserved with strangers but still friendly and not aggressive. He is hilarious to play with as he jumps around and quite often just plays fetch with himself. He only plays when he's with fami ...
