Hi im just wondering if anyone out there could give me some advice............ Me and my partner are really wanting an English Bull Terrier and we have done for a while now as i have heard so many good things about the breed and they are a dog that we have always loved, but we have one problem i have a bengal cat which is an house cat and im unsure how my cat would get on with the dog and likewise with the dog getting on with the cat as i have heard that this breed of dog can sometimes be funny with other animals. The thing is is my cat is the only animal in our house hold and gets all the attention and i know he would hate the fact of an other animal coming into the house im unsure what to do and would just be really grateful for some advice also i am wanting a male dog and my cat is also male will this make any difference as i thought that they could clash even more with them being the same sex many thanks Rachael x

We have had 10 year old lucy for 8 years now after falling in love with her at Battersea dogs home in Old Windsor, Berks. she really is our best friend, so loving and gentle. she has just finished starring in Oliver at the Hawth Theatre in Crawley, West Sussex as Bullseye (Bill Sykes dog) she was a real star and everyone loved her.
She is so soppy but can be very stubborn and sulky if she doesnt get her own way, she is very funny and very spoilt. I can not recommend the breed enough, we were ...- Read P Moody's review (103 words)

This is an excellent type of dog. We rescued one from an animal santurary. I have never had a dog make me laugh so much with their funny little habbits. He was very loyal and a big softy. They have a bad reputation which they dont deserve. He was great with children, other dogs and all people dispite having suffered trauma in his life prior to us adopting him. We even had him on the stage as Bill Sykes dog in Oliver at the Marlow Theatre. Sadly they seem prone to kidney problems and we lost him ...- Read Guest's review (117 words)

I have had my bull terrier for two years now and have loved every minute, these dogs have more character than any other breed. Lotus makes the whole family laugh with her antics, she is always up to something, these are very unique dogs which require a unique owner. I was 15 when I first seen an English Bull Terrier and I thought it had such a lovely face. It was a miniature and from that day I wanted one and it took us 5 years to get our English bull terrier. From that day I first seen one,t we decided to get a normal sized English bull terrier, she loves people, children especially, little babies in prams, she loves dogs and other animals like cats horses and hamsters. She helped my dad get a bit better from his depression buy getting him out because he ...- Read trixie's review (173 words)

The love affair began for me with the English Bull Terrier, when i was a little kid. The family fell in love with them during the war. I grew up hearing all the stories about my dads English Bull Terrier. Most kids dream of being astronauts or winning the world cup. My childhood dream was to have one of these dogs for my very own.
Dad made me wait until I turned 18 before he let me have a dog. He knew just how special these dogs are, and how different they are. To me he was perfect. He wasn' ...- Read scottnsid's review (453 words)

I own 5 bull terriers both show and breed..
When I first saw a bullie I thought they were ugly...but when you get to know one they are soft sensative lazy pig headed stubborn little critters that just want to be loved up on the sofa with you....
If brought up correctly with firm but fair training then they make wonderful companions for anyone who is willing to learn about this wonderful breed..
We have 3 kids who are loved by all our bullies and they would never harm a hair on their heads ...- Read Bullyfield Bull Terriers's review (142 words)
