    Good Points: Great picture, easy set-up, reasonable sound quality. At around £500, good value for money. Upscales standard dvds up to a point, to provide good quality pictures.


    Bad Points: I hate the silver line around the edge of the tv - would be much better completely black.


    General comments: The picture on the Panasonic TX26LXD70, while excellent, is even better in my area when the aerial reception is put through a pvr. I use a Panasonic one, which is also excellent apart from freezing now and again. Overall, recommended.

    Bought the Panasonic TX26LXD70 unit with the Panasonic DMREX77EB DVD player. Absolutely fantastic. So good I bought the same two units for my 75 year old mum! She had no problems in getting to grips with it.

    I bought the Panasonic TX26LXD70 after comparing it to a Samsung at Currys. The Samsung was similar in price but the sound was just not quite as good. The Panasonic was very easy to set-up finding all the Freeview channels within a minute or so.
