Good Points: None. Very basic.
Bad Points: Black and white picture. Doesn't record, and it simply relies on P.I.R's for detection.
General comments: The latest CCTV systems incorporate a movement sensing hard drive instead of using passive infrared technology. The hard drive is able to record immediately there is a change of picture, or difference detected in pixels. There is therefore no need to expose a sensor to weather conditions, which can cause false triggers.
The latest system is wireless, colour, has a microphone built-in, and incorporates a recording system of it's own, and it is also wireless.
Go to www.idealcctvsystems.co.uk and see an example of a system which has been introduced on the market very recently, and it time and date stamps all its recordings.
