A great BSA air rifle, it comes with a 200cc buddy bottle which in .22 provides enough puff for 200 good shots, it has john bowketts ledgendary regulator which keeps the power the same until the very last few usable shots. I like the weight and the bulk of the gun (some shooters may not like this), The later BSA Superten mk3 has kept the mechanical bits, and lost a lot of weight, you can get the mk 3 instead at a price. Personnaly I prefer the mk1 to any of the later models. a few things to note...

This is a great gun. I have it in .22 however I wish I had it in .177 as mine is 12ft/lb and there is a lot of drop. The mag is not as good as I would hope for the cash the gun does not always load first time because of this. You have to fire off a 'blank' when it does not load witch is loud and a waste of gas.
however if you use the correct pellets (Accupell, Matchpell) you can put pellets on top of each other at 35 yards. When the mag works it is a nice action to use. Trigger is great....

I have had two .177 BSA Supertens in as many weeks! First one a .177 bull barrel carbine, Very poor finish Mag wouldn't index correctly 7" groups at 30m! (My .22 AA s410k puts in 0.5" groups at this range with ease!). Second one a standard carbine.177 much better finish 2" groups at 30m
I now properly have more makes of .177 pellets then some shops due to the amount of brands I tried in these guns! Seems a lot of people have had the same sort of problems in .177 so maybe BSA needs a rethink...

I've been around spring rifles & pistols ever since I can remember, recently when I decided to get serious about hunting, I started to look at pcp's for there quietness & lack of cocking when around the quarry. My first choice was a BSA Spitfire because they are so cheap. Upon receieving the spit I found it to be very long with a silencer fitted and not that good at quick target aquisition so I decided to plump for a Superten. Bought one Sunday teatime and scoped up in the garden. I was very keen...

This rifle is the most ideal rife for my kind of land.I often need to use long shots 35+ yrds and this rifle is well up to the task at 11.9ft lbs. It also is wisper quiet so i can dispatch rabbit after rabbit before i'am noticed. I would reccomend this to anyone who take shooting seriously....

All in all the Superten at 11.9ftlbs with a Simmoms 3-9 X 40 scope is one of the best purchases I have ever made in a gun.
Well done BSA....

I found this gun to be superbly accurate, after running 200 shots through a chronagraph (.22cal) i found very little varience between velocity.I liked the gun so much i bought another one (.177cal) which i had converted into a Stalker Tigerten LE....

Hey how are you,
I just put a deposit on a Super 10 MKII long barrel, but I'm interested in the 400cc buddy bottle and I'm tring to figure out what caliber to buy it in. Can you tell me if yours is a FAC Or 12lb version? I'm trying to figure out how many shots I'll get out of a 30lb long barrel big buddy bottle. Thanks for your help. Spiderman

I am thinking of buying the SUPER TEN MK2 rifle but am not the strongest man in the world and am stuck on wheather to by this or the falcon lighthunter 12w I see the bsa super ten as more acurate and so forth but to heavy whitch would you recommend?

Hi Bibo Bob, the superten is a weighty weapon and with the scope attached it can wring out at 9 pounds or thereabouts. The weight makes for a gun that steady's up the shakes as long as you dont hold on aim for too long. But thats not the whole picture, if you are not built like Arnie and have to cover a lot of ground in pursuit of your quarry
then you are tired when you do catch up and that makes for a poor shot. Best advice I was ever given is go for the best gun you can afford, make sure it fits and is commensurate with your size. most guns are more accurate than we will ever be able to shoot them. So check the weight and shoot it in for accuracy, if you are not sure of a killing shot , get nearer or pass it up. The idea is to kill not wound, right?

I bought this gun recently having previously used a HW90K and various spring guns.I have found the rifle to be more accurate than any other rifle I have fired and the amount of shots from 1 fill mean there is no need to take charging kit with you.For those who really go to town a spare buddy bottle cost about £36, compared to about twice that if you buy a rapid 7....
