Although i've had my machine for many years now, for the past 2 years or so, I'm finding it impossible to get the tension right. I've had the machine serviced regularly, I do the maintenance inbetween servicing, and generally look after it well. I have absolutely no idea why this is happening, when I have it serviced, the tension is set and the machine works well - for a short while. “This is a fabulous machine, that I use to make clothes...”

This is a fabulous machine, that I use to make clothes for all of my family. Anything from baby to adult, everyday to guinnvere for a big party and we have made covers for two boats on it too, this is very heavyweight fabric and the machine has no problems at all. I would recommend this machine very highly.
The machine is very easy to use, my husband uses it and now teaching my son to use it too, this is made more easy by the speed control. (read more)

“Excellent machine, simple to use and copes with all...”

Excellent machine, simple to use and copes with all sorts of fabrics. I especially love the threading set up and the fact i can use it with of without the pedal. The buttonhole maker is another very useful feature and saves alot of time and hassle. Its had alot of use over the past 3 years and is still going well, with only a small service to make sure it stays this way.
If it lasts as long as my other machine (1932 singer) i'll be even happier. (read more)
