    Good Points: A must have utility to recover from a software or hard disk problems. Able to restore your system quickly back on the same drive or to a new drive. After losing data from a PC, was able to successfully restore data from last backup.


    Bad Points: Unacceptable performance trying to restore and resize the partition onto a new larger drive with backup on DVD discs. Better to store the backup onto an external USB drive and bootup with a CD boot disc. Resizing disk partition option didn't always come up. Ended up restoring the preboot partition and doing a factory restore on a new, larger replacement drive as the restored partition was not able to be resized before restoring. And Installing the applications afterwards.


    General comments: Acronis True Image Home 11 is a disk image backup utility for the whole hard drive. Able to restore the whole disk or directories, folders, or files.
