Good Points: Nil points!
Bad Points: Read above.
General comments: Apart from an Alfa Romeo, Evergreen Easy Spreader has to be the worse product that I have ever bought. It dumped loads of feed which subsequently killed the grass and finally fell to pieces at the end of the first session.

Absolutely worthless product. Evergreen weed/feed would not pass through the holes as intended. Instead, the feed tray filled to the brim and distributed the granules at the ends of the tray, meaning that I had tram-lines all up and down the lawn. Thinking that dampness in the grass had affected it, I tried again several weeks later on a dry sunny day after checking the grass was completely dry. Exactly the same result. I now expect to have another set of tram lines at right angles to the ...- Read Guest's review (182 words)

I have had two new Evergreen Easy Spreader and each one just has not performed efficiently. It has no durability in its design and does not last for long. Will look at different makes and pay a little more to get a good reliable spreader.- Read Hamids's review (61 words)

'Does what is says on the tin'Common sense really if using a lightplastic, cheap spreader not to put a strain on it by over filling it, I did 100 sq m in each run, it wont take the full 300 sq m as it is simply too heavy!- Read Maggiepage's review (73 words)

Had a garden spreader for 15 years that worked well. This Evergreen Easy Spreader replacement ended up in the bin after one season.
I have been using evergreen spring and autumn feed for as long as I can remember.
Currently looking for a new spreader that can do a better job.- Read Lyndek's review (64 words)

I found that my Evergreen Easy Spreader's construction was flawed, when the spreader was loaded with the weight of granules to spread it fell apart (the dispensing tray came out of it's mounts), it then dumped a pile of fertilizer on the grass that subsequently killed that patch.
I would advise that if people buy this product, they should check the item in case they have the same problem.- Read Innis's review (74 words)

The Evergreen Easy Spreader is poorly made, doesn't spread evenly, dumps granules randomly. Cost £13 for the spreader and £20 a bag. Lawn needs to be done again which is another 2 bags. Waste of time and money, very frustrating.- Read Jeffrey71's review (41 words)

This product is worse than useless. As well as being hard to move when loaded, it kept getting stuck and was hard to move round corners. When it stopped it dumped a small pile of granules, which subsequently killed the grass in ugly patches. Steer well clear of this turkey unless you want a lot of grief - it's quicker and less stressful to do it by hand.
I do not recommend the Evergreen Easy Spreader.- Read Francis Holmes's review (77 words)

Evergreen Easy Spreader is a very poorly made product. It is difficult to push and to manoeuvre, and it does not distribute granules evenly.- Read Bernardreilly's review (31 words)

Evergreen Easy Spreader:
I didn't realise that this spreader has no feeder to draw the load for distribution and it therefore relies solely on gravity. I didn't buy Evergreen granules and it wouldn't put down any of the feed that I had bought. Yes my mistake but that's far too fussy for me.
The handle is all plastic in 3 sections that clip together and it twists all over the place and it's far too flimsy for when a wheel gets stuck. You end up having to kick it with your foot to get it mo ...- Read djtaylor's review (167 words)

Evergreen Easy Spreader costs about £13. Do not think of buying it. It does not spread well, it's cheaply made and falls apart easily. I bought one last spring, though oh well, you get what you pay for. In autumn, it fell apart with most of lawn food/mosskiller spilling out. I fixed it. This spring, when I was filling it the material just kept running through as the plastic bit that stops it doing so had broken again. Save yourself £13.- Read BobBobBob's review (83 words)
