    If you want a solid laser printer and don't want to mess with all the extras such as card readers, etc., then the Canon LASER SHOT LBP-2900 Printer is the machine for you. It's solid, reliable, provided high quality prints, installs easily, and has a relatively small footprint. Easiest installation in the industry. Documentation is precise and easy to understand. Drivers are stable and self-loading. Solid construction immediately impressed me immediately. This is a quiet, economical, efficient machine. I've had it for over a year and a half and it has pumped out the pages flawlessly. I get about 3,000 pages to a cartridge too. As a University Professor, this is the ticket for class notes and small booklet publishing.

    I needed to replace my home printer and realised that most of my printing was just text. I knew a laser was best for this and eventually found this small one for around £60. With one cartridge supplied (they estimate that should do 10000 sheets) this looked like it would work out as good value for money.It isn't super fast but it is faster than most inkjet printers. The quality of text is superior to all inkjet prints I have seen. It can take the cheapest paper because there is no ink to ...
