If you are looking for speakers which can convey depth clarity and detail without recourse to a sub woofer then look no further. These speakers are a force to be reckoned with and worth shelling out that bit extra.
Only so far you can drive them however, headbangers beware !

Great sound and you don't end up with a sub woofer cluttering up the floor! Worth the money but they're not cheap. You get what you pay for. And in this case, it's excellent sound quality.

Having owned several other computer speakers I've always felt that the sound is simply naff compared to a home hifi system (and I'm too poor to be a true audiophile). The beauty of these Bose Companion 2 is that it simply delivers the quality and presence of a proper hifi and that's all I wanted.
No fuss just great sound (though although I do think it's worth the asking price here, in Singapore it's half that which makes it even better!).

When connected to a good sound card Bose Companion 2 are fantastic. When connected to a notebook the sound is very good, but to get the true Bose experience connect to a sound card. Fantastic, saw them on www.bose.co.za. (read more)
