    Good Points: Picture quality Excellent on the Sharp Aquos 46" LCD TV whether in Full HD and SD. This is down to the equipment signals and I use the best kit available! A superior contrast ratio beats the pants off my previous 42" Toshiba And on par with the Sony

    Bad Points: No picture stretch for playing some HD DVDs

    General comments: Mine had a pixel fault after 2 months and even with the choice of other TVs in the same price range (very few) I am replacing with the same TV, possibly the 52".

    in my opinion there are way too many issues with the TV to give any other opinion than to be disappointed. I may have been unlucky to have got a bad egg. It's true you get full HD but for sky HD this is not an issue. If you use a Blu-ray - HD DVD or PS3 then you get the benefit of 1080p. But in the sources I use the picture is plagued by pulsing which in SD maybe you would expect but not in HD. The sound is the best bit, it's good. But TV, in my opinion, is all about picture and this TV just do ...
