I have a pub. I commissioned Sky Sports as a MAJOR investment in my business - and like any new project - it needs PROMOTION. To HELP that launch, SKY Sports provide banners, posters and promotional material... except in MY case, they didn't...NOT for JUST one month, but for TWO! BUT That wasn't the worst thing...it was their SHEER CONTEMPT towards handling a complaint about their dismal service. That seemed to boil down to suggesting the CUSTOMER made a mistake and Sweet FA (no pun intended)...DISGUSTING ATTITUDE indeed. Our BIG LAUNCH of SKY died a death so VERY quickly...and it has failed. It failed enough for it to be CANCELLED, due to breach of contract. And the price of their pathetic service... £1138 (in VAT) per MONTH!!! In wrote the Head of Customer Service - IGNOREDE Just THINK TWICE before relying upon this arrogant, errant, 'service' provider - with it's 'deminishing' conetnt and 'escalating' prices. THEY are taking the MICK indeed! In a way, I am glad they breached contract. It means I can leave, unhindered - just as I did their appalling Sky Busines Broadband dwal, which was a WHOLE other tale of woe! AVOID THESE CARELESS INGRATES - BT Sport messes up too but their attituide was TOTALLY different. I think I can cope with a QUARTER of the cost on BT sports and a few hundred quids for AMAZON over the next few months. SKY Sports can GO shove it up the dark place

Sky Sports News is by far and away the best sports news service anywhere and should really have a 5 Star Rating but for just a few things. Sky have made a very bad judgement of error taking this off of freeview.
Firstly, Advertisers will be annoyed that their audience has become restricted to just Sky viewers (there are still a lot of people without Sky you know as it is not always affordable in these times)and also it is a slight own goal for the company as it is a platform outside of the Sky cirlce to promote the rest of SKY TV and entice people in to buy it, especially for the sports services it promotes. There is too much nepatism on the channel. Just because somebody's daddy used to play for Liverpool or their brother is a rugby player should not automatically qualify for the job. However, points aside, the presenters are usually good, charming, funny, and very presentable. Some of the technical glitches get on your nerves though and I wish there was an option to get rid of ALL the screen captions and Logos. I know what channel I am watching without needing a constant reminder... but this applies to ALL channels. Some logos are huge. Next it will be a picture frame of advertising and the picture will be surrounded by rubbish. I don't want this on my TV thank you!
I have the full sky package however I find myself watching Sky Sports News most of the time. Would recommend without a doubt but I know many who are angry it is not on Freeview now and Sky need to put this right as soon as possible and restore the service. You do usually hear all the latest sports news there first though.

Sky Sports is awesome, I would be happy to reccommend skysports to everyone I know.I watch Golf and football mostly at weekends. With the Sky HD plus its great to record anything I could miss and watch it later so I havnt lost out.
The website is brilliant, you can watch stuff from your computer as long as your boss doesnt see you ;)

Sky sports has got to be the market leader in online sports news. The web site is awesome and covers pretty much every sports you could want, and in great details. They often have many exclusives and the writing of articles is top notch. The people at shy sports, and sky in general work very hard at knowing what their audience wants to know and they full fill this very well. My only complaint of this site is that is was updated not long ago, having been an avid user of the site for many years I am now struggling to find the information I could find before. This is something that takes getting used to and I'm sure has been done to improve user navigation and to a new user this will not make any difference. The site also includes links to other sites, obviously other sky areas but also for "pick of the days" and many games and quizzes hours of fun keep up the good work sky.
