    Excellent website relative to its peers - good design/layout and easy to navigate. The ordering process on the website was also relatively straightforward and seemed secure enough for me to trust.

    Goods (bed and mattress) were of very good quality which is particularly impressive given the price paid for the goods (£500 in total). In fact, very content with the mattress (Opal). Overall very good value for money.

    To be honest it's rare to find a collection of such good quality furniture on an internet site that isn't operated by John Lewis.

    Delivery was prompt and the driver called in advance as specifically requested.

    All in all, very satisfied with the experience and will be using again.

    Lovely products, as described and competitively priced. Web site is clear and navigating around it is simple. Good customer service and communication. Delivery on time and as arranged. Would use this company again.

    First consignment all faulty finish except stool. Waited two+ weeks for replacement consignment, supposedly quality checked but appeared unopened, still flaws and one piece rejected ,but no replacement arrived.Given up now.Way overpriced for finish of goods and hassle involved.One man delivery for such heavy goods hopeless,we were left to cope.Lucky we had garage for storage as delivered boxed then drive away.If you can find what you want from a local furnisher go that way instead.

    Our experience with Frances Hunt was very poor. Delivery was 11 weeks, it arrived inadequately packaged with no documentation. The item was covered in a cheap plasric veneer even though ALL information referrring to the item on the website indicated it was wood. On complaining that the website was misleading we got the immortal sentence "well you didn't really think it would be wood at that price!".     I am amazed at the bad reviews. I needed some furniture for a flat I moved into and the Frances Hunt staff could not have been more helpful. Not only did they deliver within 2 days when no-one else could, but the quality of the furniture and the prices were amazing. I would highly recommend them.

    Frances Hunt meant extremely poor customer service for us. Continuous delays with delivery of our furniture. 2 August 07 placed order, 26 October 07 received! 6 - 8 week delivery quoted on web site. No apologies. The furniture quality is very good, which is a good job because we didn't receive a receipt for any part of the transaction! I also wrote an official letter of complaint and we didn't even receive an acknowledgment letter. Would not use them again.
