I ordered a dining table and chairs form the website. I was told I would receive a text the day before delivery and given a three hour slot. i did not get a text. When my furniture arrived one of the table legs was faulty. I telephoned and was told they would send a new table leg, then I received a call to say they would send someone to fix it but could be up to three weeks wait!. I would not recommend to anyone, this company sells bad quality products with a bad customer service to match! They always put the blame onto their "suppliers" and their delivery company is a one man band so if you buy something like a divan base, you'd have to help them lift it in! When I phone for answers or to chase them up on something, they are just full of promises but they don't follow through. Excellent Service from all parts of the business. I called to track my delivery and customer services were more then helpful, they gave me the day in which my order would be with me and a rough time it would be. After waiting a week longer than promised and having to chase the order, I gave this company the benefit of the doubt. However, the Romney Lift-Up Pine Drawing Desk that I bought seemed solid enough but after a few months the wooden stand split,then the drawers fell apart through normal use everyday use. We have just come to the end of a saga of customer service disaster with Frances Hunt. Every part of the process has been like pulling teeth. Some of the staff clearly genuinely want to help but for whatever reasons behind the scenes and the website frontage, Frances Hunt are not set up for efficient delivery or order processing. Ordered a chest of drawers on Sunday, we were a bit desperate for the furniture so I rang on bank holiday Monday, not expecting to reach anyone, but spoke to a lovely guy who said if I emailed him he would get back to me the next day. I had used Frances Hunt previously when furnishing a rental flat. I was impressed then by their 48 hours delivery on sofas, beds and dining table. Exactly the same has happened to me! I have been waiting 7 weeks for my order and they have told me, after I have emailed three times and been ignored, and I have rang twice that the item was damaged.I was then informed I would have to wait two more weeks!!

I agree, there is no customer service with this company. Frances Hunt should not be aloud to set themselves as an internet furniture company, they just do not have the skills to run a delivery or how to communicate with their customers. I'm still waiting for my coffee table after a month and was blamed by their staff for the wrong order!!!

Be careful - they state delivery times which are inaccurate, my order went from 'may be 14 days' to 'another 4 weeks' and I only found out when I chased them after 3 weeks. When you ask for your money back you get told that it will take 21 days 'as per their terms and conditions'. An absolute disgrace. Their customer service is awful. (read more)

My review is similar except I have been waiting for items since 13 March and twice France Hunt have delivered smashed marble furniture to me. I have asked them to take away the remaining piece of furniture and I am being held to ransom because apparently they do not deliver to Scotland often (still charged me £60 for delivery to my post code though). They are a terrible to deal with and I would strongly advise anyone to use an alternative supplier.
