    DO NOT BUY FROM CSL! You could be waiting forever for your furniture to arrive and customer service is very poor.

    We purchased a suite from CSL back in October 2008 and it was delivered in December 2008.
    We have been unhappy with the sofa since the day it arrived.
    Both seats next to the arms have sagged unacceptably meaning that we are now sitting in a tilted position causing us to have back ache.
    The same technician did visit us in February and again in August
    and said that this was acceptable as it was within normal tolerances
    and we needed to dress the sofa so it did not looked slanted after each use.

    PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY A SUITE FROM CSL. PURCHASED LEATHER 3 SEATER SOFA AND 1 CHAIR IN APRIL. THE SUITE IS 6 MONTHS OLD AND TWO ARMS HAVE COLLAPSED. NOT IMPRESSED WITH THEIR REACTION AT ALL.

    PLEASE DON'T BE TAKEN IN LIKE I WAS......I purchased my sofa, arm chair and Fiji designer chair way back in February - it was delivered after 13 weeks - I was asked to sign a form before it was even brought in to the house - no mention of what it was for, I took it to be the delivery notice but after reading Betty Boop9 review I realise it was their disclaimer - the stitching to the sofa and chair had not been coloured, which meant it was a tan colour next to a chocolate brown so stuck out like ...

    I will never buy a sofa from CSL again nor will i be recommending them. The sales team in the show room give out the wrong information, for example they told us that the electric recliner was a sensor but when we recieved the sofa it is actually buttons housed in the leather, which after 1 month is protruding through! When i spoke to them they have said its our word against the sales people, so there is nothing they will do!. Beware when they ask you to sign the ARDD as that covers them for ever ...

    I am now losing the will to live !! I have recieved my SECOND sofa off CSL, and guess what ??? yes there is a fault !!! My first sofa arrived in Feb 2009 called in about the fault straight away, took them until MAY 2009 for them to move themselves after many many phone calls. I ordered the same one and waited the full 10 weeks delivery, recieved it in August.     Sofa delivered and size different from that provided by Salesman at point of sale and therefore did not fit my alcove as required.

    Contacted Customer Service and was told all their sofas are hand made and therefore are all different sizes... Also leather apparently 'expands' so the shop might have been cold when it was measured!

    During a telephone conversation with Customer Service they confirmed their Salesman work on a percentage - need I say more?

    We purchased the half leather and half fabric corner group as we origianlly felt that it was excellent value for money and the sales man was very friendly and helpful. We were promised that the delivery would be on time and CSL did stick to their word although within 9 months of having the sofa the cushions started to become very flat after sitting on them.     All I can say to anyone buying a new sofa
    DON'T BUY IT FROM CSL
    We bought two 2 seater jakarta soaf's and a footstool
    Footstool damaged on delivery
    Our footstool/seat was sat on three times, the leather stretched.
    This as left what I'd call a puddle mark in the leather
    Customer services don't want to know, very unhelpful
    No chance of replacement stool or refund
    All they stated was " you signed and read the agreement"

    CSL shop admitted they'd errored about delivery dates. They said 12 weeks and delayed dates 3 times and admitted they could never achieve this date.
    A tip for anyone waiting, insist on getting the vessel number your goods are on and track through www.vesseltracker.com in conjunction with google earth, it's a fantasic tool. You can see exactly where in the ocean your goods are.

    CSL Salesman are perfect at their job, as are the guys who are paid to come out and inspect your problems when you receive your suite ( because beleive me you will be very lucky if you never meet this side of CS-Hell), when he comes to inspect arrange and dress your suite the best he can he will then take photos and send them off to head office to get out of fixing the problems.

    Me & my girlfriend had seen the CSL advert advertised on the TV on several occasions & decided to go & take a look. We went to out local Rotherham store..which is imaculate its a reali nice and friendly atmopshere.     I purchased a leather sofa form CSL Feb 2008. This was delivered in April 08. By Sept 08 the black leather was fading. Their rep came end of Sept 08. They accepted no liability. I persued via small claimes court and had a date set for 22 July 09 10am. at 9.15 the day of the hearing someone called from CSL to settle all costs + full amount of sofa. DO NOT GO TO CSL SOFAS.

    This is the second time im writing a review, i did receive a phone call from CSL after i wrote my initial complaint, however i was at work at the time so i asked the customer service rep to call me back, that was over 3 days ago and im still waiting for my call back. Please anyone who reads this review be very very careful when buying from CSL as they are full of hot air when it comes to customer satisfaction

    CSL has excellent sales service, but be warned its all speal. Do not bother taking the after care service as they dont do anything if the product is wrong. My advice if you notice something wrong immediately with the sofa dont sign for it and ask the delivery team to remove it as it not right.

    bought sofa from CSL Furniture. suite arrived with foot missing which was on a slant when delivery guy installed it in the living room had to point out that sofa had a lean on it,also 1 week of having it the cushions went flat thats due to the fibre fillings that they use rang them and they sent an engineer out who said that the seat cushions need to be plumped up day by day. decided to get an upholsterer in to give me he,s view on the sofa his reply was that its just cheaply made not to mention ...

    CSL are appauling
    Been waiting 16 weeks and still no delivery date. Not even in store. Origninal lead time was 10 weeks!!!!!!!!!

    Have complained countless times including emails and last news was that if i let my child draw on sofa then no its not covered by sofa sheild as it would make me a neglectful mother.....THE CHEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Too long a story to put on here but so so so not amused........... trying to contact them to cancel order.

    Ordered cream leather sofa Aug '08. Waited in unitl 9pm on day of delivery having taken day off work. Delivery people friendly but very stressed in run-up to Christmas. Sofa grain was incorrect so refused to take delivery, was advised that customer service would contact us after the weekend.     Bought my sofa from CSL in January, after having it ONLY 2 weeks the right hand seat of the sofa felt liked it had dipped. I rang the customer service line only to be told it was settling with the heating !!!! I explained it felt more like the frame than the leather , but the person on the end of the phone was convinced my heating would fix it !!!!!
