A word of advice thoroughly inspect every inch of you furniture before signing for it , call them a week later with a fault , they are not interested I bought two steeler sofas after a week I noticed ain indented rip, not caused my me I have no children or pets , they couldn't get it in the door with the wooden feet on they took it back out unscrewed feet did this hapoen during delivery or was it sent out faulty? “Delivered wrong item, abysmal after care.”

Ordered a three seater sofa and a one seater. They turned up on the day and at first glance I was pleased, but later that day, I realised that the one seater was noticeably a darker colour than the couch. Since then, it has been hands down the shoddiest after care service I have ever experienced. “NEVER BUY FROM SOFAWORKS”

We order an Illusion sofa on 24/08/2014 from the Hull store, the service in the store was very good and we came away impressed. Nothing impressive about the after care!! Our sofa was delivered four weeks after ordering it, which we thought was good. just an advice, i bought a sofa from sofaworks then called csl. the sales team were great but after 6 months the sofa started to fall apart. they claimed they could not help even thought i paid for 5 years cover. they will surely change there trading name again and tell u they cant helf if something goes wrong

I purchased a leather suite Dec 2013. The leather started to discolour in patches so I contacted the company to complain about the poor quality. They sent an assessor who took photographs of the damage and then advised me they would arrange for a technician to re-coat the leather. I objected to this solution due to the age of the furniture & a very rude technical advisor then stated it was damaged by my cat and maintenance. Please do not spend your money here! I've had no positive customer service at all. I'm shocked to be honest. When we bought this sofa the ppl in store were nice but since ordering it's been hell! I'm buying my first home and have not yet moved in. We were asked to give a soonest possible date for delivery but after we explained our situation our sales guy said not to worry as there's no way it will turn up before 9 weeks. me and my partner went in to the store and was welcomed in a warm way. We were given time to look around. A salesperson helped us with great knowledge of all the products and found exactly what we wanted. We decided to buy and he made us a drink and introduced us to another member of staff who was new but was still able to answer our questions and complete our order. bought 2x2 seater leather sofas in November 2012, first had to have someone to them in June 2013 the leather seemed to be fading the guy painted some dye on and this seemed to work, we had to have someone back out in the September as it was happening again this time they painted the fading patchs and sealed it has it had not been sealed on the previous occasion. by the following march the fading was worse than ever but when we contacted sofa works we were told we were out of our 12 month… Read Full Review

Moved into new house, purchased new beautiful 3+2 seaters, staff tremendous on day on purchase... Day of delivery.... 3 seater dont fit!!!! Edinburgh Straiton store... I sympathise. I'm having to take them to court. As you say all sweetness and light in the sales room but not interested when something goes wrong. BBC Watchdog did a programme on CSL in June 2013 - you can read the transcript on internet - might be worth sending your problem to them - I have. Good luck

Well my turn to leave my review now following on from my partner Jane Silva's review a few week ago. And so the disgusting service continues. So yes as we have said the sofa would not fit in our room of choice even through the uneducated sales staff told it would. So we dismantled our door frame took out part of our walling to have the sofa re-delivered on another date and then had to replaster the wall re-fit the door frame, re-decorate and re-paint all at our own cost. leather sofas delivered in March and the problems started with days! The leather scuffed and the colour came off in various places. The technician has variously said it was our dog that had caused the problem and when the problem went worse with no dog involvement it is now blamed on our body oils causing contamination and the leather subsequently to scuff. “Currently on second Lennon recliner! Leather peeling...”

Bought the Lennon recliner set and leather started peeling on seams after 6 months. They replaced the sofa set citing a leather manufacturing fault so we ordered another set! That was great no quibbles however ...after 3 months its doing it again! They now say its ware and tare due to raised seams! Sorry to hear of your problems - I too have peeling leather furniture after only 5 months - apparently head oils to blame! I got an independent report which confirmed not fit for purpose and I am also seeing a consumer lawyer. I've also sent details to BBC Watchdog - a transcript of the programme they did in on csl June 2013 is available on the internet.

I am consulting with the Furniture Ombudsman and will also be looking at a consumer Lawyer. How much was you consultation? Did you consider Small claims court? Be great to keep in touch. As this is the Second set of sofas with same issue after only 3 months I have had enough!

“Inflexible with hidden charges”

After being quoted 9 weeks delivery and having the wonderful customer experience in-store that others have, I was amazed to discover that I have been forced to accept delivery within 7 days of the suite arriving at their warehouse OR PAY STORAGE CHARGES of £!0/day; this was after the suite arrived earlier than expected.
