The service we received both looking for and buying our sofa from the stockton branch at Teesside Park was brilliant. There was no pressure throughout the whole time we were in there giving us a great experience. We were able to customise our payment plan to suit our needs completely. Delivery of my 2 + 3 seater full leather vantage sofa came on the 24 8 14, the delivery drivers were great got the sofa through the window no problem, but it soon went rapidly down hill from there, as soon as the packaging were open I could see the difference in quality from the sofa in the store and the one I got. Found the whole process of ordering very smooth and the staff very pleasant. They seemed to really know their stuff and there was none of the pressure salesy stuff we found in other stores (this was the Reading branch). The only bit of misinformation in the whole process was the claim that the electric motor in the recliner could only have a one year warranty by law... We spent months chosing our new sofa's and finally settled on 2 2seater sofas from CSL (now sofaworks) - Charleston in Briar Brown. The service in store was excellent, delivery smooth and we were initially very pleased with our choice. However, like others have reported within 6 months the leather began to loose it colour, it flaked off - mainly on the seams and then on the front of each of the seats. “Peeling sofa p'd off customer!”

We purchased a 2 seater sofa, a 3 seater sofa and footstool from CSL a year ago….. all 3 have started to peel back to a completely different colour…. we have had an inspection and the result is it's our fault as our hair contaminated the leather….., I've never heard anything so ridiculous in my life…… we are clean…. we wash daily so we have clean hair…. we don't use gel or hairspray or any kind of product other than shampoo and conditioner….. how the hell does our hair… Read Full Review

No joking we waited 9 months for delivery then had nothing but problems from day 1 when they finally do deliver your suite check everything and if you see anything wrong reject it I wish I had I got rid of the suite after 15 months it looked like it was 15 years old and that was with me looking after it !!!

Thought I was given very good service at time of sale but did discuss I was not sure of my options regarding size of suite 2 & 3 or 3 & 3. Was not told I only had 48hrs to decide when phoned to confirm was told I would need to pay additional admin charge of £129 admin fee to change order only 4 days after placing it!!!plus extra delivery charges not happy plus not told if I cancelled 30 percent if full charge will apply… Read Full Review

At first everything seemed to go well sales advisor was very helpful not push at all then when we sat down to do the paperwork things started to go horribly wrong and have continued to go wrong ever since!! Don't bother buying a sofa from these idiots. We have had to call a repair man out 4 times in 7 months but now they have told us to stop calling them and wasting their time!! Each time you need to call sofa works you're on hold for about 30 minutes before someone is there to answer your call and then they try to fob you off by asking you to send emails of the problems and never replying to you so guess what...!! Do not buy from this company!! Save your money and go elsewhere. Sofa arrived damaged so emailed customer services immediately even adding photos of the damaged sofa, 4 days later, no reply! “The worst company ever!! ”

We were so impressed with the show room the amazing looking feeling sofas, the service in the shop then it all went wrong... The sofa has stains all over it when it arrived. The sofa was damaged from a liquid that leaked in the delivery van not just a bit it was all over it! We were not aware of this until I rearranged the cushions on my brand new sofa to discover dark stains all over it.
