Ordered a fabric corner group, delivered with a scratch on the arm & 1 of the scatter cushions was wrong, new material & cushion ordered.. The major problem is the corner seat cushion, i paid extra for foam cushions so that they would stay firm & within 2 days, there is an indentation in the cushion, the upholsterer says it's not a manufactures fault, customer service are therefore unwilling to do anything to rectify it, so i have paid £1,200 cash for a sofa where 1 cushion looks terrible, even...

We would like to praise all of the staff at Blackpool, and in particular Gary and Simon and also Emily at reception. Our experience could have been a disaster because whilst the suite was exactly as ordered, unfortunately the colour we had chosen did not suit our decor. This was not a problem for CSL. paid cash for my sofa and took out the so called insurance for an extra £200 to cover "any" damage.
Only had the sofa since December 2011 and already wearing on cushion. Phoned csl who told me to contact insurance company who have used 3 different names since December!
Insurance say its wear and tare and CSL say its accidental damage, so neither party will accept any responsibility,even suggesting i lie and say i spilt something on it, (fraud i think that would be called)!
now i'm pushed between a random insurance company and CSL and have a sofa that is knackered after 5 months! They won't even come out to look at it, just fob you off to get you off the phone asap!
Also had to have the chair fixed as it wasn't set up on the motor correctly. Although that was "fixed" its left a big lump underneath that just makes it uncomfortable.The guy that came out said it had been set up wrong on manufacturing!
I could only advise that no-one buys from Csl as i know i will take this further and further, i only hope enough of you see this before CSL decide they do not want it to be seen!!!
PS..........................for the gent on the phone working for CSL Mary Portas was the lady that stepped in to try and sort your company out to stop all this! (he didn't even know who she was)almost laughable if it hadn't just cost me £2000!!!

I went into CSL at Purley Way Croydon, we was welcomed as soon as we walked through the door be a happy welcoming member of staff Patric Grant, he was very helpful friendly and funny and gave us over 2 hours of his time, taking time to show us different sofas that were available and taking us through the different prices and choices we had. Walking around the store is pleasant and the staff are generally helpful although they do "follow" you around the store which was off putting to begin with. Loved the fact that we were able to walk around the store, try out the sofa's without feeling pressurised into making a decision there and then and committing to buy etc The salesman Khalid was super friendly, knowledgable, non pushy and laid back in approach making the decision to purchase the sofa we really loved even easier etc The coffee was good too!! David Deckerd at the Stoke CSL Store explained that he had joined CSL recently however you couldn't tell that he was new. He was so friendly and approachable and had such a great personality. We'd looked at several shops selling the kind of sofa we were interested in, fairly standard - leather 2 and 3 seater electrically operated recliners in purple ( less standard perhaps!) The delivery charges are not immediately apparent when looking at the prices. I had to pay over 10% of the sofa cost for delivery. I bought a 2 seater and there is a minimum charge for a three seater delivery. As there are no time slots for this service I was also forced to pay extra for a Saturday delivery. Went to Brent Cross store. The salesman recommended a sofa that can be delivered within 2.5 weeks, so I was happy. Only when I paid for it and salesman disappeared, the delivery slot was apparently unavailable. So it was pushed another week forward. The showroom employees cannot do enough for you to purchase the sofas,however aftersales is poor . We spotted CSL on the Purley Way and having not been in there before thought we would go in and have a look. The shop had a great range of sofas, but we were very taken by one in the COCO range.
