In August we placed an order for a sofa in the Cannock store, we were prompted by the salesman to leave a review on here based on our experience. I have noticed how many 5* reviews on here are from people that have just placed an order, if customers waited to see what their furniture turned out like and what the after service was like I can be sure that they would not have such a good overall rating! “terrible shoddy goods ”

“£1500 sofa didnt even last a year! ”

Brought a fabric corner sofa from the lakeside store, we were concerned on the cushions as to how long they would last and not flatten we was told it would last and not flatten so we decided to go for it its only been 10 months and the sofa looks like we have had it for years!!! First furniture the recliner would not go up on its own repair man came out messed about with it tried to convince us it was ok then admitted it was too big. Customer care great exchange full suite. New suite arrives delivery men point out same problem plus different dimension's to the previous one. Phone customer care who say spec may have changed and her recliner does the same thing? Our experience in the showroom was very good and all was well until the sofa was delivered damaged. The delivery men were very nice and pointed out the damage but left me with the settee as I had no other furniture. I was told Sofology would sort it out and not to worry. That's where the problems started. The after sales service was none existent and it was impossible to get through and speak to anybody ever. You are kept in a queue and the phones are never answered. Brought sofa from lakeside staff very good. Sofa got delivered damaged and it went down Hill from then. Arm was damaged where delivery driver cut plastic off. Waited ages for repair to be done after approx 10 weeks they sent wrong piece of material. Customer service have promised the earth but they are rubbish. Eventually got new sofa suite this Friday. Orderd a sofa 9 weeks ago, paid for a Saturday delivery. Got the text the day before giving us our time slot, all wonderfull you would think. Saturday morning at 11.40, 2 hours after our time slot had begun I get a phone call, sorry miss due to staff sickness your sofa won't be delivered until Tuesday (not even Monday) I already took a day off and now have to take another one. “Aftersales support shocking & legs that look like wood...”

I bought the Bella sofa in May from the Croyden store and couldn't fault the staff. They were extremely helpful and friendly and I didn't feel pressured or rushed into making a purchase, I was so pleased I even left a positive review on their website. The after sales support is a completely different matter. After six months one of my seat cushions has become completely bobbly and totally different to the other one and looks awful. I went in to sofology in Dundee and purchased a 3 piece Quebec Leather recliner suite.The service in the store was good with the sales person given good information about the sofa. 13 weeks later time for delivery from the manufacturer via sofology delivery drivers.I found the 3 seater recliner sofa had a big scratch on the leather cover of back cushion,at first it looked like a cut mark.they sent a guy out to do a cosmetic repair,although i was totally against this repair with the suite less… Read Full Review

We recently visited Sofology in Croydon where we spent along time in the store thoroughly testing almost every sofa with a view to going away to make our decision and then return to place an order. Due to a family bereavement we have had to delay our purchase and you can imagine my horror and distress when I returned home yesterday to find that I have been sent a parking fine of £70 for using the Sofology car park. A real shame the buying experience is good nice sales people no pressure , delivery men very nice , Love the settee,s Then the let down our two seater settee developed a problem , getting through to customer service appalling ,when you finally do you are past from one to another and if they say they will ring back it does not happen. The worst place to buy sofas from. Cstomer service Absolutely useless. I brought a 2 seater and 3 seater leather recliner sofas, spending almost £3000. Sofa was damaged during delivery and then 6 months down the line had problem with structure of the two seater. Call out a repair technician 3 times( couldn't fix the problem) same technician came around. We brought 2 karma sofas from sofa works great in store experience. When getting the sofas we noticed after about 5 months the colour was coming off the leather around the edge of the seats and the leather had started to peal away on the seat (like you would expect of an old sofa not 6 months old) after them agreeing to come out and look at it they redyed the effected parts of the sofa only for it to happen aging in less than 2 months, they would not refund me but offered 2 new karma sofas… Read Full Review

My in store experience at reading was very good , I was given a worst case delivery date of Nov 10 and told that would get 3 weeks notice as I was concerned about having time to get rid of my old furniture , and for extra £15 I would be able to have Saturday delivery. “Can't cancel order”

I had to cancel an order worth £750 due to unexpected bad news, which meant I would need that money urgently. At this point I hadn't even confirmed my order. I tried to call them within 48 hrs of placing my order but couldn't get through - only salespeople were available. I also emailed them but never replied.
