I ordered a chest of drawers, delivery was promised on the Friday - however I did not receive the item. I called Furn on customer service to question why I have not received the item. To my surprise the representative was rude and had an appalling attitude. I spoke to a amn at Furn on - instead of initially resolving the issue of delivery he insisted on cancelling my entire order despite me not authorising this action. He raised his voice, was intimidating and used bully tactics to force me into cancelling my order rather than have me write a negative honest review on the customer service provided. Eventually he apologised and stated “the weather is too hot - hence his attitude” and that he can arrange an express delivery for the following day. I waited yet again for the Item on the Saturday only to receive “part” of the chest of drawers. The other part had not been sent by Furn on, which now means another day of waiting for the second part of the parcel to arrive. Having regularly shopped online - I would never use this company again and would strongly advise others not to bother. Customer service at Furn on is unprofessional, they do not deliver in a timely manner and unbelievably one product is sent out in two different parcels. Next time, I will be sticking to more reputable companies such as Made and Wayfair!

“Beware..Do not purchase here”

Beware.. Do not buy products from this website. They sell you whatever cheap quality products that's available in the market without any consideration for the nuisance that will cause to their customers. And once sale is made , should you need to report a defect in the product, the only job their customer services has is to annoy you with repetitive stupid responses and denying the defect. On 13th June, I purchased two items of Lisbon 3 door black wood grain wardrobe. There was a design defect in the product with front door available space width of 112.3 cm and total door width of 37*3=111 cm which left a 13 mm gap in the front. Reported this immediately to customer services and the only response I got is please revisit the assembling instructions to resolve the issue...also asked me to adjust the tightness of screws.. Hahha. Ideally a customer service will raise a design defect to the Manufacturer of the product and discontinue the product immediately from their website until the issue is resolved. Also customer service will apologise for the inconvenience this has caused and offer a discount to help the customer spend that money on getting the defect fixed on their own, especially in cases of furniture that require spending time and money in assembling it. Do not buy products from this website.. Or be prepared to be annoyed by their customer services.

“Avoid at any cost ”

Wrong table delivered - over a week later nothing was done to resolve problem First of all, let me comment on some previous reviews - it seems that they always try to suggest "faster" option with one man delivery on a pallet. And of course, everybody falls into it after waiting for god knows how long for their delivery. Usual phone call with information "we can get this to you after tomorrow but on a pallet, otherwise it will be next week". You end up then with pallet left on your doorstep and you need to carry all heavy furniture by yourself. But of course, they advertise free two man delivery. Anyway - to the point about my experience as delivery was not the worst one. Boxes were delivered and once I managed to get them by myself to the flat and opened them, I noticed that wrong coffee table was sent. I contacted them first day in the morning the following day to inform them about it and to request to start arranging collection - Person who I spoke told me that somebody would call me back with the time of collection by noon on that day. Nobody called me until late afternoon and when I called them again I was told that they sent me an email and before they do anything I need to send them pictures of the wrong table. That was the first shocker - even if they need pictures - nothing should stop arranging courier company - I think I know what I ordered and it doesn't require any verification (in fact everybody can return anything within 14 days anyway so what was this nonsense with pictures about ??). Anyway - I managed to send them pics and email with an explanation that I needed the wrong table to be collected by next day as I live in small flat and have no storage space for the boxes. They ignored that completely sending me to email back that tables will be exchanged next week and that they will confirm when exactly later on. Until Wednesday, following week nobody got in touch with me so I sent the email giving them final notice that if goods would not be collected by Friday - I will be disposing them and will be cancelling my contract with them. They did not bother to call me all day - so about 4 PM I called them to check if they received my email. She told me that she literally was off the phone with courier company who will contact me in next 5-10 minutes to agree collection time. Of course, it was another lie as nobody contacted me. Today - on Friday - 9 days after delivery - I am getting rid of their wrongly delivered boxes and will start the process of claiming money back from Visa Charge scheme from my credit card issuer - which will be another lengthy process. Do yourself favour - and save yourself from stress. AVOID AT ANY COST - they don't give damn about customer service standards at all.

“DO NOT USE!!”

Complete rip off company. Sold me 500 chairs and 125 tables for use in my children's play centre. After just one month the chairs starting breaking while people were sat on them, causing the customers to fall to the floor. Furn-on took absolutely no responsibility and tried telling me that the sets were for domestic use only! For a start I was advised they would be perfect for my play centre and secondly who buys that many products for domestic use? My insurance company made me remove all the chairs as we are bring sued by a number of different customers due to injury. This cost me over £17,000 in the first few months of opening a new business. Do not use this heartless horrible company, once they have your money that is the end of it no matter what happens with their cheaply imported from China products. I believe most of the other reviews are by the owners themselves so be very aware. There are so many other good suppliers out there!

“Do not give them your money.”

We ordered our sofa suite in January and are still waiting for the correct sofas at the end of the March. We first received our sofas at the beginning of Feb, one was the wrong colour and one was broken. We applied for a refund on the 5th and the 11th of February. After no contact, apart from passing the blame to the courier company, we still have no sofas. DO NOT give this company your money. They lie to get you off the phone. The staff are dismissive and use one line to answer all queries. They have no concern that they have not delivered the product that we have paid money for. DO NOT use this company. If you do receive the correct product it will probably break within the first couple of weeks. I wish before I had ordered sofas from this company I would have checked out the Facebook reviews before.

“report on three two one suite ”

I would not recommend this suite to anyone because one week after arrival the two seater arm began to crack. Then within a couple of months i noticed a nail sticking out of the three seaters inside arm. When i called them about this i was told i had to send photos by email of this after a couple of rounds of snaps until they were satisfied i was given two choices i could either bubble wrap the three seater for collection to replace it at my cost or accept a cash small payment to get it repaired myself, which i took. I had to replace the whole suite after 18 months because you cannot sit on it with any degree of comfort.

“VERY POOR QUALITY GOODS AND BAD AFTER SALES SERVICE”

We ordered a GARDA, PISA DINING SET. Below is a copy of the e-mail that we sent to Furn-On setting out why we were dissatisfied with the product: "Following our telephone conversation on Tuesday, please will you let me know by return what Furn-On plan to do regarding the damaged furniture that we refused to accept on Tuesday. Below is a summary of the whole saga so far: The order was placed and paid for on 05 March 2013 We received an e-mail acknowledgement from Furn-On stating that the furniture had been dispatched to the courier on 13 March (7 working days) We received the delivery on 02 April (a further 12 working days) We advised Furn-On that some of the chair legs were damaged and an exchange note was raised on 03 April The replacements were delivered 30 April. (a further 20 working days) One chair was returned with the driver because of damage. After a total of 8 weeks (39 working days) our order still has not been satisfactorily completed and we are still having to chase you for information, which we have had to do throughout this miserable process. And we still do not have a complete set of table and chairs." In addition to the above there was a further delay as, having checked a replacement chair before despatch to us, they too had to reject it. This shows the standard of the product. The last replacement was received 13 May. If we had the energy would too have gone back. The quality of the furniture is very poor and the service from Furn-On even worse. When we asked for a full refund we were told that they couldn't as the furniture had been assembled. We were also told that they would do nothing as they felt we would never be satisfied customers and would never go back to them. THEY ARE SURELY RIGHT ABOUT THAT AND OUR RECOMMENDATION TO ANYONE THINKING OF BUYING FROM THEM IS DON'T. If you decide to take a punt on Furn-On, be warned about delivery arrangements. If you don't live in the North East, you will be given 24 hours notice of delivery. If you are unable to take delivery on that day, you may have to wait another 10 working days or until the the courier next has a full load for your area.

“worst picture award”

We bought a Kendal 2+3 drawer chest, the picture looked like oak ie no knots at all on a pale wood item and it did not say it was self assembly. When it arrived it was a lacquered pine self assembly chest that could have come from a DIY store. Very disappointing. Read the descriptions carefully and phone for clarification if no wood type is specified, don't rely on the picture. Read the terms and conditions carefully if purchasing from this company as there are hidden costs and restrictions for self assembly fuurniture.

“Very poor customer service”

4 weeks and still not received my furniture, very poor customer service. They didn't let me know that there was a delay on my furniture. Not compensating me in any way for the wait. I arranged a dinner party for the time when the dining set was going to arrive and then had to cancel it due to the order not arriving. Due to furn on I have lost a lot of money! Will definitely not be ordering with them again!

“An absolute nightmare”

First table arrived damaged, sent in photos had to wait a month for it to be collected and an exchange only to find that damaged as well, took another month to collect that and another 10 days to get our money back. Very poor quality furniture. They use delivery companies that only visit an area once they have a full load hence having to wait four weeks. All in all from ordering to getting our money back took 3 months.

I don't think these guys have any idea about delivery or stock. I ordered tables which were 4 weeks late. Not sure how many items they have in stock they seem to act a middle men with goods arriving directly from the manufacturer hence the lack of firm delivery date. Customer services were friendly but were always unable to give me an accurate time for delivery but when I asked for my money back my goods were all of a sudden on the next delivery run.

When the items arrived on of the tables had a scratch on it and a nail sticking out the botton of one of the legs which would have given the floor a good scratching had I not spotted it in time.

Overall the prices are competitive and would only order from them if the items are in stock

I ordered our dining room suite in December xmas week and was told 14days delivery after chasing them hey never answer the phone i am via email as told 10 more days , eventually six weeks later,theres is a delivery of the right suite but wrong colour chairs they have collected the wrong chairs and after waiting in all day today my correct colour chairs still havnt arrived i have been told lies every time i have asked when my delivery will be this is absolutely unacceptable way to conduct business we are now in febuary and i have a table without chairs recommend to freinds not likely!!!!!!!!!!

I would NOT recommend furn-on to any customer!. I was told that my furniture would be delivered in 3 weeks almost 2mts on and with several phone calls etc and still cannot recieve a definate answer as to when the wardrobe will be delivered. I had to remaind furn-on of my order.Then the courier company called to say they will be delivering the next day and they were not willing to neotiate a day in the week at my convenience. After taking a day off work the courier company called on the day of delivery to say that they are going to deliver the following day... only after I blew my top did the courier company agree there was a problem in communication. 1week later I opened the boxes and shock horror only 1/2 of the wardrobe was delivered! Again furn-on was informed and was told that the other half would be delivered 2days later.. On day of supposed delivery I called to querry time of delivery only to be told that they were not aware that there was going to be a delivery! 3 hours later and they are still looking into the matter! no one seems to know what they are doing and I am still awaiting half of my wardrobe that I for in full!
No appoligies no offer of a refund or discount nothing!

I thought I had a bargain- 4 lovely shelves and willing to deliver this saturday. Unfortunately they turned up with just one bookcase and noone is available at the weekend to take my call. Aswe have just moved house we were desparate to get bookcases as we are up to our ears in boxes. REALLY FED UP. Although the bookcase itself is very nice, there are supposed to be four.
I wish I had spotted the closed at weekends bit..

I would not recomend www.furn-on.com as I feel I received poor quality furniture
Disappointing customer service (phone number rarely answered when i tried it and when it is no-one seems to know the answers to my questions)
I thought the delivery was poor and they couldn't provide details of delivery day.
My item arrived broken and when unpacked other items looked scratched and worn, rusty and appeared to be seconds.
I am still waiting for refund!
