    I provide my ratings on the Makro Croydon branch. Sadly the service has gone downhill, and prices uphill. Not only that, they appear to have serious problem in their Public Toilets, the stench is sometimes unbearable. Also, the cafe requires serious attention. Little to choose from, small choice, badly cooked and no longer cheap. This apart, there is serious sparrow infestation. How unhygenic can it be when you sit in the cafe endeavouring to enjoy a meal (if one is available), and have to put up with sparrows diving down for food left by customers! And, these are the only things in the building going cheep cheep cheep!

    I have shopped at the actual Makro store plenty of times, but being being a retired 66'er and discovering the internet and its shopping possibilities I decided to give www.makro.com a go. All went well untill my shopping basket emptied itself and I had to start again, but after that it all went perfect. I got my goods within a week and all in all look back at a very pleasant experience.
