Hi, I am blind and therefore have to use the computer with the aid of specialized software, I have lived in this Bungalow for three years now - whenever I get post I must scan it into my PC via my scanner so that the my pc can convert it to speech and audibly read it to me. This process can take up to 30 minutes. I get a bloody catalogue monthly from this firm not for me and not for the previous tenant but the Tenant before him who died 6 years ago. I will never order from this place again - the money was taken from my bank account the day I placed the order and 2 weeks later I rang them to ask where the goods were and was informed none of the items were in stock, also that they always take the payment as soon as the order is placed. I couldn't find anything referring to that in their catalogue or online. have asked for a refund and have been assured it will be refunded to my account withing 48 hours.............having read the other... Terrible service. Remove money from your bank accoount immediately order is placed and then 8 days later state that item is no longer in stock . Agree an alternative but 8 days later still waiting despite exhorbitant postage charges. Probably seen the last of my cash but will report to Trading Standards. Keep clear. (read more)

Ordered from this company on 4th January - money taken immediately - order not received - I contacted them - to be told some items out of stock not in until mid February - I pointed out it would be courteous to have told me. I cancelled these items and was then told a refund was being processed for them and the other items would be despatched. My elderly father ordered several items from Healthy Living and only half of them were delivered. There was no separate note to say that they would follow. I telephoned them and they forwarded the remaining items but one of them was incorrect. I returned it to them for replacement (at my own cost) but now, 2 months later, they are saying they haven't received it and suggested I chase it up with the Royal Mail. (read more)

Nov 2010.Goods ordered on line, but never delivered, letter sent 6/12/10 to us explaining out of stock, will deliver when next in stock. Rang them 17/1/2011. told goods coming into stock 3 days later, then sent out to us. Feb. 2011, still nothing received, so emailed them (on their internal on line system). No reply. Postscript to above! If you are unhappy with this company's service DO write to Mr. Carl Edwards, Managing Director of Kingstown Associates Ltd., the controlling company of Healthy Living Direct trading name & of Foot Friendly too.
By doing so, you will receive a refund by cheque & a letter of apology.
If, however, they operated a system whereby one's Credit Card is not debited before it is ascertained that the goods one ordered are in stock, a lot of trouble & serious loss of goodwill would be avoided at the outset of dealing with them.

I have recently ordered with Healthy Direct and was not pleased with the service I received at all. I rang them up to place my order but I was in a queue for at least five minutes before I got through to speak to anybody. When I did get through I felt rushed and so felt that my questions regarding the products were not dealt with effectively. I ordered some Cod Liver Oil from Healthy Direct two months ago (I can buy this product cheaper elsewhere!!!!) but liked the look of this company. However, I still haven't got it. I have called through on several occasions just to be fobbed off. I certainly would NOT recommend Healthy Direct. I placed an order and after three weeks it had still not arrived. I called the company and spoke to someone who was extremely unhelpful and tried to get me off the phone with all sorts of reasons. I do not think my goods will ever arrive; I have given up now and ordered from another company. Maybe one day I will receive my order but then again I am not holding my breath. (read more)

However, soon after that I found out many herbal product retailers sell products with a tiny amount of the active ingredient(s). The label just states the Whole Bilberry Fruit equivalent of 5000mg (5g) per tablet but does't say how much bilberry extract it contains nor the amount of anthocyanosides.

This company have these new tubs that are supposed to fit through your letter box but I ended up having to travel to my nearest sorting office to pick them up - What a joke! At present I am waiting for an order from this company to delivered. I wish I had known of this site before I'd placed my order. I hope that my order is delivered on time and that I do not get any problems, I've sent an e-mail asking Healthy Living when I should expect my order but 48 hours later I've still not had a reply. When and if my order comes I will not use this company again because of the bad reviews.
