I love the clothes at asda but just wish you had a bigger range of clothes for boys between age 18 months- 3 years as the boys section is so small compared to the girls section. Also I think delievery should be free for clothes even if it's just if you buy childrens wear when spending a certain amount. And why have you taken the katie price range of the shelves???? I loved her underwear as being large on top I find it hard now to buy stylish bra's in your stores as the michelle range has only my size in bras that aren't attractive, katie price's range had a wider range of cup sizes and the bra's were well fitting, sexy and stylish for a young person like me.

I really feel shops like George Children's clothing at Asda, Tesco, Primark etc should think of the age range in their clothes. My child is in to age 6 but is only 4 years and still would love to wear the young child appropiate designed clothes instead of her looking like she is ready for a night out. The next range are too old for 6y. They should start from age 8 or 9. It is really frustating and I know lots of parents are fed up of it.

I purchased a pair of Boys jeans for my 6yr old..the first time he wore them, he fell over resulting in a hole in the knee of the jeans. Yes he did fall over but show me a 6yr old boy who doesn't..I think they should be able to take a bit of wear before giving up!

I really like the new Asda George line for babies. They are affordable and adorable. The only thing I have a problem with, is I purchased 5 pairs of jeans, different sizes, and I am fighting to get them on my 6 month old (whom is breast fed). Most babies are breast fed, I would rather see jeans a little loose on my baby not so tight, that even the baby hates wearing them!!

The best thing about George Clothing is that it is very convenient. The idea of everything under one roof is great. I'm not a big fan of the range at the moment as some clothes seem a bit to "old" for me to wear, being 23, but they do have the odd item and I do like the underwear range. The staff are normally quite helpful if you cannot find what you're looking for. The children's wear seems great value for money too and have bought many presents from here for people with newborn babies. The refund and exchange policy is great, you can take almost anything back provided it's not worn - no questions asked.
Some of the clothes lack in quality, I have noticed that prices have risen, but quality seems to have decreased over the years, I bought a coat, within a couple of weeks the pockets had big holes in. However I got offered an exchange or refund, I took an exchange and the same thing happened I did get my money back that time.
Another bad point is that I went into a 24 hour store, only to be told at 10.15pm that I couldn't try anything on as the changing rooms had been locked, they did say if I bought it and it didn't fit I could bring it back, but this isnt very convienient.
The biggest gripe I have about Asda in general is the parking - you pay £1 to park and you get your money back providing you spend £5 and have stayed less than 2 hours. This is a silly idea as they may not have what you're looking for and so you don't get your money back. Or if you're like me, you just like to browse and end up buying a loaf of bread and a bottle of wine, which does not come to £5, so you end up paying extra in the end.

Well I appreciate that you have taken the time to respond to my review. Since the review my local Asda in Ashton Under Lyne has scrapped the pay a pound scheme as they had overwhelming complaints, even the staff got tired of every other customer complaining! So good news there, however they have also scrapped the petrol station as it wasn't making a profit, and decided to build a bigger car park, (the only time I ever see the car park full is at xmas) so now another disadvantage. If I need petrol, its a waste of time going to Asda to do my shopping, then nip to the local Sainsbury’s to get my petrol, might as well do it all in the same place.

As an Asda Manager I felt compeled to respond to this review. Changing rooms are locked after 10pm as this is when 24 hour stores are most likely to be hit by professional shop thieves as happens in our store very regularly. These gangs enter changing rooms and can get away with 1000s of pounds in goods a night (not just George). For the amount of customers using stores after 10pm this has not proven an issue in our store and we have not had one complaint. However, if a customer requests a changing room to be opening it will be as Asda is all about customer service. I suggest this customer speaks to the store's customer service manager and I am sure this issue will be resolved. As for quality decreasing, I have worn the George range as my workwear since its inception and have never had a single problem. If this customer has issues with a specific item she should email Asda on the website who will pass her comments to the George buyer. If we have specific issues with a line then this can be removed from sale. As for the pay a pound to park scheme. This is only used in a few stores that have chronic problems with people using the car park but not the store! Sometimes all day. A parking space can be worth 1000s an hour to a busy store, so some action has to be taken. I'm sure the writer would agree that it is better to pay a pound to get a car parking space than to drive round for half an hour before you get a place. Far from being silly, this scheme is well-recognised as working.
