“A step backwards for Ikea.”

We recently purchased a Brusalli wardrobe from Ikea Cardiff. What a load of rubbish. Having bought numerous bits of Ikea furniture in the past and always been pleased with it, we assumed this would be the case with this wardrobe. WRONG ! Even when I got it together the frame wobbles. IKea have changed some of the locking fittings from metal to plastic and this is a backward step in my opinion. “Product not fit for purpose”

Recently I have purchased Vastanby/Grebestad dining table at Ikea, which as Ikea pricing goes was not the cheapest product. After just a few days of using the table covered with a table cloth the surfaces started bulging - not something one would expect from the dining table. “Restraunt not good store products good not recemmend...”

Have been to store many times since opening like the new design. “No wardrobe handle”

“Warehouse Warrington ”

Buy in store pick up warehouse you can walk to it.you will find in Warrington the most un hlepfull people around go into hideing in case you need a hand to load you car etc.I was picking up with my gradson on Friday pulled up 3 staff outside looking the part and loading someone's car i came out with 6ft box sofa.looked around for help all gone had to take box apart in car park in rain and put it in van.All items transported loose in van think this may be just Warrington not the best service… Read Full Review

Guys, Am telling you, never ever buy this product(Article Number:991.298.67) from IKEA. This is the most horrible product I ever brought in IKEA. This is just a piece of expensive trash. The assembly is not clear at all and one wrong turn will screw up everything. I have struggled to fix this trash for more than 4 hours and now the drawers are not fitting into the rails. “Ikea Lakeside, horrible place”

I hate everything about this store. It's like a maze when you go in. There are no proper signs and I believe it's done deliberately so you end up walking through every department. There are never any staff around to assist you and hardly any of the items have price tags. We have been a very loyal IKEA USA customer since we moved to the US three years ago. Three years ago we bought all the furniture for our home from IKEA store along with delivery and assembly services. Unfortunately, we had bad experiences with delivery and assembly services back then. But, we took it sportingly and considered that as a fluke and moved on. “Metod legs are rubbish”

Although the quality of units is what you expect for a budget product the plastic legs are useless. The units come with pre-drilled holes and the legs just push in only they fall out every time you try to put the unit in place. Ordered a chair for my sons college apartment and came in with the cushion sewn on backwards. Of course called and was on hold forever. Finally someone said they would send us a new cushion and pick up the one that was messed up . FedEx showed up to get the messed up one but the replacement one never showed up . I ordered a white wardrobe online at the beginning of May. The delivery was not until approximately a month after my order was placed. When I got my delivery, instead of a white wardrobe I found myself with a gray china cabinet. Of course, I called and got it fixed. However, the pickup and delivery was again two weeks later. Then received an email confirming delivery for July 1. July 1 came and went and not delivery. I called and was placed on hold for over an hour. Called again and was transferred and then placed on hold for 45 minutes with no response from the CS rep. A good store for browsing around and getting furniture and accessories for the home. I shop in the Edinburgh branch and have been going there for over ten years and never been disappointed with the selection, quality or the service. “Online Order & Worse Delivery Experience”

I asked one of the glum assistants if IKEA (Wembley) had a certain sized picture frame in the range we were standing in front of (as the measurement I needed wasn't there), but she bit back with, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'IN THIS RANGE'?" “Help with Furniture”

I returned a chair to the Leeds store and was helped get the damaged chair out of my car and into the returns department by a very helpful young man. However, when I got my replacement from the warehouse I was told that they could not help me take the chair out of the packaging in case they damaged the chair and they couldn't help me take it out to my car and put it into my car as again, they might damage it.
