I ordered some glasses just after Christmas from HoF online. They did not turn up, I then received an email to say the product was "undelivered" and so I would be refunded. I am still waiting for my money back it is now February. I emailed thier customer services address twice with no reply. Would NEVER shop online at HoF again.

Bought slippers online as Monument store out of stock. Xmas present for wife. Order placed 12 December. Chased all through Xmas and New Year period, excuses about poor weather etc. On 18 Jan HoF emailed to say the delivery had been lost and refunded me my money. No offer to resend me the goods I'd purchased (which I'd have accepted and they'd have kept their profit), no compensation, nothing. Hopeless bungling administration (unclear letters asking for forms to be sent back with no prepaid ...- Read Guest's review (99 words)

I visited the Monument House of Fraser store in London this lunchtime. I was in a rush and looking for a gift set for a friend. The sales assistant on the Aveda counter could see that I was floundering so asked me what I was looking for. She asked my budget, then directed me too their travel size range. She told me the ones to pick if I only wanted to spend up to £25, pointing out that I'd picked up a more expensive item and telling me which to substitute it for.
Extremely helpful ass ...- Read Jessaranda's review (99 words)

We scheduled for a Saturday delivery, the only day when we're actually in to receive it, paying an extra 20 GBP. They gave DHL the wrong date, so we never got our product! I was in waiting the whole Saturday for nothing -- and now DHL won't reschedule the delivery for a Saturday. Fraser returned our extra 20GBP, but so what? We can't receive it during the week!
This is a horrible way to treat customers. I'm never buying anything from them again, and I recommend you stay away from their online s ...- Read Guest's review (94 words)

House of Fraser
This house of fraser is not particularly nice. It looks like it hasn't been done up since the 1980s which is a shame. They have quite a large selection of clothing but their ceilings are low and the store lighting is not great - especially in the basement. If you are trying to find a sales person for some assistance that can be difficult.- Read kirsty88's review (67 words)

I ordered over the internet from House of Fraser and they delivered the wrong item. I got no apology, now they're saying that I have to stay in for their courier to pick up the wrong item that they sent (perfume), so this Thursday I have to stay in between 9am and 5pm!!! And I've had no apology, or any kind of compensation or nice gesture from the company.- Read Anglesey123456's review (97 words)

The Birmingham House of Fraser store on the Mens floor has some very good staff that work on the polo section on the weekend, give very good survice and helpful advice on sizes, been buying polo there for many years.
In my opinion the store needs a face lift as the mens floor looks very outdated needs some money spent on the lanyout and the clothes look very boring..need to get new brands in and new buyers to get stock that apeal to people who are looking for something different to wear..
There ...- Read Guest's review (132 words)

It is a store well renowned in this area for classy, quality goods of many descriptions.
On entering the store on the ground floor you will be met by a gorgeous array of cosmetics and perfumes, the ones you will have heard of that ring expensive but worth it! I am a frequent visitor to the Estee Lauder counter; I just love those cosmetics! There are many others such as Clinique, Lancome and Guerlain; you know the types of brands I mean - the top of the range stuff that includes a beautifully ...- Read Helen of Troy's review (561 words)

The Manchester branch of House of Fraser feels like a jailhouse. There are more security guards in the department store than there are shop assistants. On more than one occasion the security guards have followed me around the shop. I even resorted to complaining to the store manager, who did not satisfactorily address my complaint. There are other department stores, such as Selfridges and Harvey Nichols, that offer similar types of products, but manage to treat their customers with the necessary ...- Read ErnestoCalver's review (98 words)
