“Premium care - what a joke!!”

Purchased washer dryer and fridge freezer spending £900 and was presurised to by Whatever Happens Premium care as this would ensure 48 hour call out in the event of breakdown. Washer Dryer is now on 3rd breakdown in a month, it's less than a year old and I am in a three way shuffle between Hotpoint. “Customer abuse”

The Guiseley, Leeds, branch has a nice line in customer abuse. I took a tablet back the day after I bought it because it didn't work properly. I thought a refund was appropriate. But the Manager disputed that it was not working. When I asked if I could challenge his decision he told me not to come back to his store. I later found that the PC World Technical Support line is informative and helpful - what they told me went part way towards getting the tablet to work - unlike the the branch… Read Full Review

My husband and I went into Basildon Currys to order a fridge freezer, we wanted to delay delivery for 3 weeks due to installation of a new kitchen. The staff member was unhelpful and just told they wouldn't hold on to it and for us to come back next week and order it. “Buying washing machine online”

Bought a Bosch washing machine on-line, paid for it and money taken out of account immediately. Delivery date confirmed. No one called back regarding delivery. I had to call them only to find out my product was not available for 2-4 weeks. Not even a courtesy call to inform me, no email. Now I have to wait for 5 days to get my money back. Fulham Currys Some of the staff were horrible- I cannot tar them all with the same brush but there were 4 in particular who made my hour in there one hour too long and the last I will spend in there. “Sheer bad manners and service”

“Do Not Care About Customers”

Beware buying any goods from Currys as they wont replace them. They will send them to a repairer (not the manufacturer) who, like Currys have a very poor reputation. The staff in store are very patronising. Also, their customer services are no better and lack any customer care or empathy. They only do the minimum they need to do within consumer law. I had reserved a tv and bracket yesterday and I could collect it at any time after the hour. I went there and was waiting for at least 45 minutes for them to tell me that it was at pc world instead of currys.. The manager just stood there and watched. He knew exactly what was going on and he said nothing. Just let us stand there and wait. Didn't ask to help at all! He eventually helped when they told us I was at pc world and that's it. I attended the store at Hedge End today with a view to buying a Fuji Camera. This is a large retail store but there was nobody available to assist me in my purchase.
