Bought a matching Kenwood kettle and toaster from Currys in Eastbourne in November 2012. Less than two years later kettle starts to leak from the bottom of the inset plastic water gauge. Not right for an expensive kettle - I have had £8 plastic Tesco kettles last longer than this. Phoned Currys service centre to see what they were going to do about it. “Worst service - not even worthy of one star”

Our fridge freezer sadly packed up last weekend. We went to Curry's online to order a new fridge/freezer thinking they would offer a reliable service with fast delivery, as these days a fridge/freezer is pretty vital in the kitchen. “Curry's Office 365 University download”

Not the actual product itself but the absolute nightmare of a process I had to go through to get product key, set up account, verify account, verify eligibility,verify account again, non-functioning links, process deadends. Ordered a dishwasher for oct 6th, received email confirming date, self employed therefor no pay took the day off, no delivery. Called up and they changed it to the 8th without notifying me. Was told 100% guaranteed on the 8th. Took day off to find out they then changed the date to the11th without notifying me. “Premium care - what a joke!!”

Purchased washer dryer and fridge freezer spending £900 and was presurised to by Whatever Happens Premium care as this would ensure 48 hour call out in the event of breakdown. Washer Dryer is now on 3rd breakdown in a month, it's less than a year old and I am in a three way shuffle between Hotpoint. The Guiseley, Leeds, branch has a nice line in customer abuse. I took a tablet back the day after I bought it because it didn't work properly. I thought a refund was appropriate. But the Manager disputed that it was not working. When I asked if I could challenge his decision he told me not to come back to his store. Bought a Bosch washing machine on-line, paid for it and money taken out of account immediately. Delivery date confirmed. No one called back regarding delivery. Fulham Currys Some of the staff were horrible- I cannot tar them all with the same brush but there were 4 in particular who made my hour in there one hour too long and the last I will spend in there. “Do Not Care About Customers”

Beware buying any goods from Currys as they wont replace them. They will send them to a repairer (not the manufacturer) who, like Currys have a very poor reputation. The staff in store are very patronising. Also, their customer services are no better and lack any customer care or empathy. They only do the minimum they need to do within consumer law.
