I don't know where to begin....Absolute nightmare from beginning to end. Store experience was like being deployed by air into afghanistan without a parachute. Had a 'wheres wally' search for a staff member for 15 mins before getting any help to purchase a fridge freezer. When I did find one, she was so disinterested and bored that we huffed, puffed and pulled our teeth out through the whole sales process. Went to buy a oven & hob plus fitting and disposal to save any hassle well it turned out nothing but hassle delivery was good they were unable to fit it had to get local electrician to fit it which turned out to be a lot cheaper £45 instead of £120 thanks for that. “Terrible customer service”

I'm appalled with there customer service I bought a Hotpoint cooker from them 3 weeks ago the reason was my old cooker had packed in the 1st thing that went wrong was the website did not state it was out of stock so I called currys up about this they then passed me onto Hotpoint and blamed Hotpoint so I called Hotpoint up they blamed currys but assured me it would be in stock come the Monday I called the Monday they then told me it would be in stock the following Monday baring in mind I have 3… Read Full Review

“Can't get the bolts undone to reverse a reversible door”

New fridge freezer arrived on time, but the bolts holding the hinges to the reversible fridge/freezer door are impossibly tight. You're suppose to be able to loosen them (according to the instructions) with an ordinary screwdriver, but even a socket on a professional quality chordless won't budge them. My complaint is that despite visiting the store because I was getting no where on the 'phone, the "Know How" guy didn't know how he could solve my problem. Finally got a resolution. I put the defective fridge/freeze in the back of my van and delivered it to the shop. Money back - problem solved - no more waiting around. I think I'd have got my money back even if it had been in bits by the time I got it to the store. It's sad that you sometimes have to be this way to cut through the red tape.

Bought a Apple iPad mini for my son this Christmas. Two weeks later it stopped charging. Took it back to curry,s and they said don't worry it is covered by the guarentee. I week later I get a phone call from a snobby adviser telling me they won't fix it because it as been damaged by someone. The only charger that was put into the iPad was the one they provided with the iPad. And nothing else as been anywhere near it. I took delivery of a Beko fridge freezer from Currys. It is faulty and damaged. It has taken over a week for them to even think about replacing. I was told my delivery would be today (Sunday 1st March) and once again called to check time as with experience I have had this week I do not trust them. I was right not to. Brought a expensive frost free fridge freezer (Frigidaire) from here. After just 3 years its packed up. Also have had problems with a TV box from them. There is no point in even complaining about it because they don't give a damn I sure they sell sub standard appliances. I should have gone to John Lewis because they have a better customer ethic. “Shocking service ”

We have recently bought a hob from Currys and it has been nothing but a stressful experience!! The hob was delivered Saturday and having paid for someone to fit it you would expect it to be done properly. However the hob was not even attachéd to the unit properly and you could pick it up! Bought a washing machine and dishwasher and paid for installation. When the delivery was made the delivery driver said they were not allowed to touch the water on/off taps and refused to do the installation. “Very poor service”

Took delivery of a BOSCH Classixx 7 WTA74200GB Vented Tumble Dryer - White in December 2014. Waited a month for delivery rather than buying a cheaper one of the shelf because of the Bosch name and the variety of drying programmes. It only works on the timed program. I informed currys within 14 days but they have refused to take back the machine. “Damage Hoover Dryer”

The dryer was the right price....£229.99, 8kg with a B rating, just what I was looking for. Took dryer home same day Saturday 24/1/15. After un-packaging, I used product right away.25/1/15 I noticed a mis-alignment of casing above control panel. Contacted Curry's 27/1/15. Was referred to helpline; they scheduled a visit by Hoover engineer to assess damage. Hoover referred me back to Curry's.
