“diabolical customer service”

Currys delivered a faulty low level cooker (Indesit ID50GW) becasue it was not secured properly in their van. The manufacturer's engineer was unable to fix it. Several visits back to the shop of several hours' duration and a replacement was arranged of a different eye level grill model as the original one was out of stock. I ordered a dishwasher,price was good but £90 to install it which I thought was expensive but I needed this quickly for my holiday house. The fastest delivery I could get was 5days later not good but I had no choice. They finally came with the dishwasher an hour before guests were coming. My husband bought an Essentials dishwasher from Currys in Mahon Point, Cork, Ireland and it never worked. He spent hours trying to contact them on their 1890 number and kept getting messages saying all their operators were busy. When he eventually got through, he was given a code number and told to bring the machine back to the store, quoting the code number, and he would be given an exchange. Appaling service from Currys. My order was scheduled for delivery today (6th Nov) between 11:25 - 15:25. See picture. After taking the day off from work i waited all day to receive my order. I recently purchased a tumble drier and a washing machine' and paid the £20 charge for fitting, from Curry's store at Marsh Mills Plymouth. Having taken advice from a member of staff I selected the items suitable to my needs. I haven't always had bad service from currys. However, recently I ended up walking out, due to no service...even though the shop was virtually empty and there were numerous staff. “Rubbish customer service”

Bought a Currys essential fridge which is leaking and now damaging my kitchen. The fridge was less than a year old so tried to get it repaired. To my surprise you are expected to stay home for a whole day to wait for technician. In this day and age this is not a reasonable request for a product that is the fault of the manufacturer. 2 x service repair people have not shown up despite booking a day for the repair. I'm not a stupid man, I do my research, read reviews, check things out for myself and make a rational decision. I found the right TV at the right price so 10/10 for that Currys, then the salesman started with the sales patter, I stopped him and stated very clearly I do not want anything else at all, no cables, no warranties no anything yet still he wouldn't stop. Bought a matching Kenwood kettle and toaster from Currys in Eastbourne in November 2012. Less than two years later kettle starts to leak from the bottom of the inset plastic water gauge. Not right for an expensive kettle - I have had £8 plastic Tesco kettles last longer than this. Phoned Currys service centre to see what they were going to do about it. Our fridge freezer sadly packed up last weekend. We went to Curry's online to order a new fridge/freezer thinking they would offer a reliable service with fast delivery, as these days a fridge/freezer is pretty vital in the kitchen. “Curry's Office 365 University download”

Not the actual product itself but the absolute nightmare of a process I had to go through to get product key, set up account, verify account, verify eligibility,verify account again, non-functioning links, process deadends.
