Terrible service. IF YOU DON'T READ THE WHOLE THING READ THIS: AVOID CURRY'S AT ALL COST. VILE STAFF AND PATHETIC 'STANDARD COURSE OF ACTION' Curry's have dominated the market for domestic appliances so when my grandad needed a new Tv for the kitchen we went there. “wrong product, wrong day and a load of lies”

My elderly parents needed a new cooker so I purchased one from the Currys website based on the details from the one they liked in the Hove shop. I travelled on the day the cooker was to be delivered and arrived to see the wrong item. My elderly parents chose the model that suits their needs and physical limitations. Went to currys for buying a washing machine. No one was around , waited for long time though all are doing something in a corner. Manager came and he called up, nobody turned up. “installation? what a joke.”

I had a electric cooker delivered. They couldn't install it cos I had a old gas cooker. So it sat in my kitchen for a week before someone could come and install it. (2 cookers in a small kitchen is not ideal). ALSO, a week later I ordered a washing machine. It didn't come when it was promised I had to wait 6 days. Then when it turned up, surprise surprise, they couldn't install it cos my old machine has a cold and hot input. So I told them to take it back. Don`t even think about using this company as there customer service is useless and pathetic .Cut a long story short .... ordered something online with them as it was cheaper than anywhere else , set up the delivery address , paid by card and that was that or so i thought ! I bought a dishwasher on line. Due to Currys not having the one I wanted in store, decided to have it delivered and paid extra for a shorter allocated delivery time. “Bargain TV delivered on a bank holiday”

“Currys technical failure results in them hiking the price”

I've attempted to use Currys online reservation system twice, once for a Macbook Air earlier in the year, and the second time in April for a Samsung Smart TV. Both times failed, both times I arrive at the store to be told they have no stock. They do however have a higher spec model, it's more money obviously. “Rip off Installation costs”

Brought a new cooker and wasn't told that it came without the gas hose attached. Was asked if I wanted installation but at a cost of £80 I declined. When I rang to ask about the gas hose they said they were not supplied for safety reasons. I asked where I could buy one and was told that unless I was corgi registered I would not be able to buy one on the high street. I don't know where to begin....Absolute nightmare from beginning to end. Store experience was like being deployed by air into afghanistan without a parachute. Had a 'wheres wally' search for a staff member for 15 mins before getting any help to purchase a fridge freezer. Went to buy a oven & hob plus fitting and disposal to save any hassle well it turned out nothing but hassle delivery was good they were unable to fit it had to get local electrician to fit it which turned out to be a lot cheaper £45 instead of £120 thanks for that. “Can't get the bolts undone to reverse a reversible door”

New fridge freezer arrived on time, but the bolts holding the hinges to the reversible fridge/freezer door are impossibly tight. You're suppose to be able to loosen them (according to the instructions) with an ordinary screwdriver, but even a socket on a professional quality chordless won't budge them. Finally got a resolution. I put the defective fridge/freeze in the back of my van and delivered it to the shop. Money back - problem solved - no more waiting around. I think I'd have got my money back even if it had been in bits by the time I got it to the store. It's sad that you sometimes have to be this way to cut through the red tape.

Bought a Apple iPad mini for my son this Christmas. Two weeks later it stopped charging. Took it back to curry,s and they said don't worry it is covered by the guarentee. I week later I get a phone call from a snobby adviser telling me they won't fix it because it as been damaged by someone. The only charger that was put into the iPad was the one they provided with the iPad. And nothing else as been anywhere near it.
