I ordered a new washing machine for my 80 year old mum, but the guy didnt install the machine properly and it flooded the kitchen. We called, no one came back to sort it out and no one entered her phone call into the system, poor mum had to clean it all up. Plus she had to get it fixed herself. A word to the wary, I wouldnt use Currys again - they basically accused me of lying when I phoned to complain.

I bought a laptop from here which I thought was good value for money and I was pleased with it until I started to use it frequently. The keyboard was intermittently faulty so I took it back to get a refund, in the mean time I had also found a laptop which was better value for money else where. When I arrived I had to wait for 10 minutes to be served and the guy didn't believe me although I had been told I could take it back within 7 days if I didn't want it as long as I had the original packagin ...- Read Guest's review (160 words)

They are brainless and stupid company, they dont know how to do there jobs right. There customer service is weak and poor. They all need training or other wise the company might as well close down, not only that they are breaking the law of sales direct. They should be fined for that. When you promised a goods you got to keep it, not let people down. If you do that then your a heartless person and have no soul.- Read Guest's review (80 words)

I arranged for a washing machine to be delivered and installed by Currys. After the machine had been installed we started to use it for the first wash and within an hour our flat and the two flats below ours had been flooded.... we called a plumber and he said that that installation of the washing machine had caused the floods to our flats as it had not been installed properly. I have contacted Currys numerous times to try and arrange a claim for all of the damage and a month later they have sti ...- Read Marie Mylchreest's review (117 words)

I can't understand some of the other reviews that seem to be so narrow -minded trying to fault everything about Currys as they can, which in my opinion is disgusting, trying to put other people out of jobs. I can say however to people reading, is that i would recommend currys over its rivals any day. A few years back, i bought a ex-display computer there, and the monitor i wanted was discontinued, I was very ready to change my mind and find a alternative, but i was told that they could order a e ...- Read Guest's review (432 words)

This is a review of the customer service as Currys Silverlink and Curry Team Valley.
Two weeks ago i purchased a Beko fridge for £90 cheaper than the same fridge in Comet (and Currys price match, so if you find a product cheaper elsdewhere they will match the price for you). The staff were friendly and helpful and the ordering process was smooth. While the delivery changes were a little hard to understand as the staff in Silverlink didn't seem to understand them, the speedy delivery was s ...- Read Guest's review (291 words)

Curry's promise home delivery within a 4 hour time slot and takeaway your old appliance, but after they rang to say they would arrive within 45 minutes I waited over 2hours without anyway to contact them, then they said I hadn't arranged for them to collect the old appliance (there is no way to state this when you order online). However they were the only high street electrical retailer that offered free delivery maybe that's why it was so bad!- Read cyberbabe's review (78 words)

I have recently had to send my laptop to Curry's which is still under warranty to be fixed due to excessive noise from the fan. I have just got it back a week later and it is making the exact same noise. Service report says they cleaned the fan. They are having a laugh. The warranty is worthless if this is what they consider a fix.- Read Guest's review (66 words)

Today I went to my local Currys superstore to purchase an LCD TV. I wanted to buy it on credit. Before actually beginning the credit application the sales guy offered me an insurance at extra cost in case I had a problem. I told him I didn't want it. He then told me that if I didn't take it and it went wrong, I'd have to bring it back and a repair would be 28 days. I told him I still didn't want it so we moved onto the credit application and all was well until he asked where I worked. I told ...- Read ashfordcharlie's review (217 words)

Bought LG 50"PS300 PLASMA and took it home, opened it to find the screen cracked. When I returned it in packaging in untouched condition they wouldn't even look at it and lied about checking it as i later found out when the staff told me completely different stories and then it turned out not to be on thier check record at all and they weren't even in the sunday the day before when i bought it and they were telling me by matter of fact(THAT DIDN'T MATTER TO THEM). They didn't even want me in the ...- Read Guest's review (175 words)

Was basically told i was a liar under there returns service. apparently the 'extensive water damage' was inconsistent with my claim that i 'spilt a large amount of water in it' and Currys refused to fix it taking 'photographic evidence' and treating me like a common criminal- Read Guest's review (83 words)
