“Cooker hob”

Brought cooker hob Belling in April 2015. Had it fitted and it broke down 2 weeks later.contacted Curr,s who passed me on to manufacture. They came out fixed it and low and behold broke down again tonight 28th August i middle of cooking family meal. If I brought a faulty pair of shoes the shop would replace them but Curry,s just pass the buck to the manufacture they are not one bit interested. We will never buy from them again. “Knowhow No Way”

The ordering online and payment followed by next day delivery arrangement all went OK however the two jokers that arrived to remove the old and fit the new had not a clue how to reconnect the simple pushfit connector and left the new machine in the livingroom with all of the transit packing fittings in the middle of the road outside and the old one still in place. On Thursday 13th August 2015 I placed an order with Curry's Online for a SMEG FAB32RNN Fridge Freezer. I then received a confirmation email stating that delivery would be delivered on Monday 17th August 2016 which I understand was from 7am to 7pm. I employed someone to be present from 7:30am when I left the house until 4:30pm on 17th August 2015 to take delivery. “Lack of interest on delivery of item after money payment.”

I ordered a Hotpoint combi microwave oven online, money was taken from my account but no notification of when delivery was to occur. I phoned the contact number from email receipt and was told to contact Hotpoint myself. Surely if I buy an item from Currys then if any information I required should be sent by them not me having to phone their suppliers. While we were standing at the computer bench looking at a computer a new label was affixed and the price went up by £20! When I asked about this (the spec had changed a little - 8 x USB instead of 6) I was told that they didn't have any of these computers, just the display model. But surely, if the price has gone up and the spec has changed, this is a new product? “Customer service appalling”

Washing machine motor burnt out after four weeks..... Currys have done nothing to resolve this..... passed from one person to another and cut off frequently. 7 days later and numerous telephone calls over 5 days..... still no further forward. Bought an integrated fridge and paid for installation. Two guys arrive. Made a complete mess of it, door simply doesn't close. Called to complain. A week later we get a guy to come out to look (look being the operative word). Apparently there was a fixing bracket that wasn't fitted and nowhere to be found. He left saying he'd get it ordered. “Great Service”

Haven't been to Currys for about 15 years due to a bad experience with a fridge/freezer. However, our TV broke down completely and was unfixable. Went to Currys in Harlow reluctantly, as all the other electrical stores in the area, seemed to have closed down. First time, dealt with Noor who was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We didn't purchase that day, but he wrote down everything we would need and recommended stuff (not always the most expensive). What a helpful guy!… Read Full Review

Rude staff and useless customer service. Bought a faulty laptop, did not want to exchange it as it passed the 21 want days warranty. They send it to the manufacturer, manufacturer didn't repair it. I am stuck with a £400 broken machine. Overall a terrible experience. When I tried o complain about the service the staff wasn't as friendly as they were when they tried to sell me all their junk. Terrible service. IF YOU DON'T READ THE WHOLE THING READ THIS: AVOID CURRY'S AT ALL COST. VILE STAFF AND PATHETIC 'STANDARD COURSE OF ACTION' Curry's have dominated the market for domestic appliances so when my grandad needed a new Tv for the kitchen we went there. I travelled on the day the cooker was to be delivered and arrived to see the wrong item. My elderly parents chose the model that suits their needs and physical limitations. Went to currys for buying a washing machine. No one was around , waited for long time though all are doing something in a corner. Manager came and he called up, nobody turned up. I had a electric cooker delivered. They couldn't install it cos I had a old gas cooker. So it sat in my kitchen for a week before someone could come and install it. (2 cookers in a small kitchen is not ideal). ALSO, a week later I ordered a washing machine. It didn't come when it was promised I had to wait 6 days. Then when it turned up, surprise surprise, they couldn't install it cos my old machine has a cold and hot input. So I told them to take it back. Don`t even think about using this company as there customer service is useless and pathetic .Cut a long story short .... ordered something online with them as it was cheaper than anywhere else , set up the delivery address , paid by card and that was that or so i thought ! I bought a dishwasher on line. Due to Currys not having the one I wanted in store, decided to have it delivered and paid extra for a shorter allocated delivery time. “Bargain TV delivered on a bank holiday”

“Currys technical failure results in them hiking the price”

I've attempted to use Currys online reservation system twice, once for a Macbook Air earlier in the year, and the second time in April for a Samsung Smart TV.
