“Lies on extended warrenty”

Having purchased the above with Currys "Whatever Happens" policy included, which states, "We will aim to visit two working days after your call" , I am disgusted to have been given a date 51 days on to call to repair my cooker., which has two rings/hobs not working. Currys "two days" has become 15! This is awful service and makes a mockery of what is stated on the paper given to me by Them. “Nice & Simple”

Last minute rush to buy my wife her birthday present (tablet). I thought i'd exhausted all possibilities after alot of on-line shops advertised what i wanted but none were available. Logged on to currys, reserve and collect for the next day. Went to my local currys and was immediately served and tablet was brought from the store room. “Damaged goods - rubbish customer service”

I ordered a fridge freezer from the Worthing store. The item was delivered with a huge dent in the front. The delivery men spent over 25 minutes trying to contact the right department to arrange redelivery. I requested a PM delivery the following Sunday. I went into the Worthing store on the Saturday prior to redelivery to check all was in order. At 8am on the Sunday I received a text to say that the item would be delivered between 10.25 & 14.25. “Currys does not deliver what it promises”

I paid an additional £20 to get an appliance delivered within a four-hour time slot. Shortly before the time slot was due to expire, I called Currys to check that everything was on time. Of course, it wasn't. I was told that the driver was an hour behind schedule. I understand that traffic and other problems cause delays. Bought £3000 65" TV - long story but received damaged. Had a replacement, still not perfect condition. Phoned Currys and was basically accused of the damage myself!! Taking this a whole lot further. Will not be spoken to in the way that I was. Avoid Currys at all costs, which seems to be the general view everywhere...should have looked before buying myself. “CURRYS!! Where's my washing machine???????”

Ordered a washing machine online from Currys, more expensive than competitors because they could deliver the following Saturday - or that's what they said they could do. Saturday came......the delivery slot was 7am - 7pm, so we were up and waiting before daybreak....... we waited.... and waited. I have called so many times it's ridiculous you can't escalate a complaint because no manager will come to the phone. “logic loofah chest freezer”

I purchased this freezer as it was stated suitable for outbuildings. When it arrived I read through the hand book and it could not be kept below 10 degree. An outbuilding gets colder than that. Called currys and the agreed it was not suitable and I could have a refund or they would replace the machine if it broke down. They would not state how long they would cover it for. “Delivery driver lied ”

We ordered a washing machine for delivery AND installation. On arrival the delivery man said he was only responsible for the delivery and another team would follow to carry out the installation the same day. This never happened and when I phoned Currys customer services the next day I was told that there is no installation team and the delivery driver should have carried out the installation. “Simply Box Movers.”

I reserved a computer on their website, received the reference number and drove 8 miles to the Christchurch store to collect. I was there after the specified hour and gave the reference number to a member off staff. The three words above sum up nicely the six month experience of buying a new laptop, it not working, them "fixing" it and it still not working, then refusing to acknowledge the problem and replace or refund the product, which is a breach of the sale of goods act. Had to search to find an assistant to help us which was bad enough, but worse yet ...... while we were processing the order, the sales assistant actually told my husband off like a naughty little child when he stressed that there should be no delivery charge for such a big order! Visited the Plympton branch of Currys today to ask a question about an item recently bought from that store. It looked like I would need a different connecting lead. The manager told me to go home and ring the help line. I pointed out I may need to buy a new lead to make it work and he shrugged and said that they do a setting up service. I bought an integrated fridge/ freezer from Curry's in Brixton and explained that I needed one that would be fixed to a kitchen unit panel and even brought along photographs. Despite this the badly trained shop floor assistant sold me the wrong fridge. When the Know How delivery team first delivered it they said that they couldn't install it. Don't buy from Currys or Dixons. What you could from them is just lots of waiting, frustration and expensive calls to their customer service. “Knowhow be sacked”

We bought a washing machine from currys unfortunately did not realise there is no dryer option. We got the installation and the company did a test run and next day we called currys to exchange this with a dryer feature machine. They did not accept. Although there is a 28 day return policy they dont accept this. From the knowhow customer service the guy spoke very rudely and unhelpful. Knowhow are awful in my experience. Both Curry's and Knowhow are stuck in the 1970s.
