“Dreadful service”

Visited the Plympton branch of Currys today to ask a question about an item recently bought from that store. It looked like I would need a different connecting lead. The manager told me to go home and ring the help line. I pointed out I may need to buy a new lead to make it work and he shrugged and said that they do a setting up service. No offer of assistance or help from knowledgeable staff just clear off and run up your phone bill. They dont appear to realise that service is the only reason… Read Full Review

“Terrible service”

I bought an integrated fridge/ freezer from Curry's in Brixton and explained that I needed one that would be fixed to a kitchen unit panel and even brought along photographs. Despite this the badly trained shop floor assistant sold me the wrong fridge. When the Know How delivery team first delivered it they said that they couldn't install it. “Disgusting delivery & installation service - washing...”

Don't buy from Currys or Dixons. What you could from them is just lots of waiting, frustration and expensive calls to their customer service. To keep the story short, I bought a washing machine and installation service from Currys. Tried arranging the delivery for 5 times - all fail! I still haven't got the washing machine yet... “Wanted to buy dishwasher”

Went to Currys on 16th Dec in Crayford with the intention of purchasing a Bosch dishwasher, two female staff standing On the shop floor chatting together. “Fridge ”

I purchased a cooker through Currys on line on 8 th November so that I was well organised for Christmas. From day one the cooker had faults, firstly one of the cooker tops did not work then after a week the main oven packed up. “Knowhow be sacked”

We bought a washing machine from currys unfortunately did not realise there is no dryer option. We got the installation and the company did a test run and next day we called currys to exchange this with a dryer feature machine. They did not accept. Although there is a 28 day return policy they dont accept this. From the knowhow customer service the guy spoke very rudely and unhelpful. Knowhow are awful in my experience. Both Curry's and Knowhow are stuck in the 1970s.

“Never shop at Currys”

Recently purchased Gas Cooker from Currys online. Within 3 weeks the main oven was faulty. It took 8 days to send an engineer who couldn't fix it because he didn't have the parts. Engineer then sanctioned an exchange, all I had to do was phone them. If only it was that simple. I have spent over 5 hours being bounced between Currys, Hotpoint and Indesit. First of all I was sold an ex display model, however I was un aware of this until I was called back into the store to go through the damaged check list! “faulty tumble dryer”

“Failed to cancel Knowhow Care Plan despite request”

I bought a new TV from Currys which was sold with a Knowhow Care Plan in return for a £10 discount on the TV. As this was a 30 day free trial with no obligation to continue, I took this up with the intention of cancelling it. “Delivery defeated by health and safety”

Ordered an american style fridge freezer on line, followed it up with a phone call to check if there were any likely issues with delivery, told them there were lots of steps. Guys came this morning with the fridge and told us that they couldn't deliver the fridge freezer because they weren't insured to bring it down the steps!! “Horrendous after sales service ”

Absolutely horrendous after sales care from Currys! I spent £270 on a hob last month and a part blew off inside. They are only willing to replace the part (as opposed to a replacement) and it will take 2 WEEKS! Plus, they won't reinstall it, meaning I'll incur more electrician fees through no fault of my own. at least they tried to complete the job. today they came to deliver me a normal size of fridge, as soon as they saw me living at the first floor, they laughed at me and said they would not deliver upstairs and drove off.... with no explanation or what so ever.... Abso nightmare... would not spend a penny there anymore

I tried to order a Bosch dishwasher from Currys online. I was given a delivery slot from 12 to 4pm. At 5pm I called their so called customer support to ask where my dishwasher was.
