    When I bought my Hometek cleaner in Feb 2009 I was very impressed with the way it cleaned and how easy it was to use. I don't think it is a very robust machine but it certainly cleaned well enough. However within a few weeks it stopped working, I returned it to the shop where they replaced it.This worked for another few weeks when the same thing happened again and had to be replaced. Alas my Home tek has now stopped working again which makes that three in 6 months. I have used it as per instructions and not excessivly - only once per week. I will be very sad to loose this but as it is not reliable I am hoping to get a refund this time.

    the Home-tek HT824 is a really great appliance for steam cleaning . have enjoyed using it with very good results - BUT wait for it! It has suddenly stopped working! the pump starts on operation - the outside cover feels warm but alas no steam arrives!! we do not know what is wrong with it. Bought it from supplier via daily mail advert so now do not know what to do... Who knows - maybe it is blocked... Am not sure what to do about support???

    I own a Home-tek HT824 & it is great,you pop on a microfibre pad wash you floor & put the pad in the washing mashine is also great for steaming carpets & beds.& to fill it up put cold water in a hole at the top & you just screw on the cap,you will never have to use a mop & bucket again. Great product if you don't own one go & buy one,because i would'nt be without mine. Only bad point don't tip it upside down or the water will pure out.

    The Home-tek HT824 gives your clean floors without too much effort. You use tap water so save on expensive chemical cleaners.
