I wish I took the reviews into account when buying my new sofas. This company is terrible lack any customer service. Having ordered 3 sofas, we were contacted to delivery our products within the timeframe. “Softy and slipping away cushions”

Lydia LHF Chaise End 3s plain –fabric Sofa Although we did not expect too high quality sofa when we brought, we were a bit disappointed on on some aspects of quality afterwards. The cushions were too soft from the beginning. No chance for heavy people to sit down. Embarrasing for them!!!. That was our least concern. We paid a lot of money to buy two reclining 2 seat Italian made sofas just over 3 years ago. After a delay in delivery of a couple of months due to it being in a container on a ship which caught fire - I kid you not - it finally arrived. “Damaged on arrival”

Appalling behaviour 15 years ago I bought a leather suite from this company I couldn't fault it. So felt confident in returning to the store in Swansea for new furniture. I bought 2 X 2 seater and one chair in leather firstly I was told I was in luck the furniture would arrive in 4 weeks however the date was changed at least 4 times and ended up waiting for 9 weeks. “Poor Customer Service”

I went to DFS Carcroft. He seemed really nice when we saw him. We later found out he was only after a sale. We asked if we didn't take the 4 years interest free payment option, would they do a discount for cash, or at least drop the delivery charge. He said he couldn't do that but if we paid the £7,000 up front for all the furniture and it went down in a sale before the 5 week delivery date, then he gave me his word he would refund the difference. I paid in full for a leather sofa (January 2017). The model was in the sale and offered at a great price, however when it arrived about 6-weeks later I was appalled at the quality of the sofa. The colour of the stitching didn't match the leather; the wadding was very poor to the extent that the wooden frame was visible on one of the arms. Wait 2 months for a sofa to be made, you expect it to be quality. Sofa arrived and had hardly any padding in the cushions so you can feel the the wooden frame underneath you. Also paid extra for the sliding feet but these bits were missed off the bottom. The sofa was very creaky as well. When I complained about it, they first sent a man to check it. He took the sofa apart and it turned out none of the screws or nails were in properly, so he pretty much re-built the frame by adding extra screws… Read Full Review

I haven't even received my furniture yet and I'm regretting it! Furniture was meant to be delivered at end of January but nobody bothered telling me there was a delay until day I was expecting it to arrive. By which time I was sat on the floor. Poked around store, staff friendly to start with. Picked out leather three piece. Clearance at £1995. After an hour he was ready to take the order, and started by saying there was a £59 delivery charge, then £75 for easy glide feet, which are plastic discs about 40mm in diameter. Furniture only lasts as long as warrenty which you have to buy if it's beyond the framework. I've ha4 Sofas from them and a chair of leather all of which are now going to land fill 8 years later. DFS struggled to actually take my initial order for a set of 3 sofa's. I had to return to store 5 TIMES just to get the order completed. I offered to pay upfront but the manager offered me a meagre discount to take out finance, they then took 4 different attempts to get this either on to their system, into a calculator correctly or in the end actually have the right sofa's on the order!!! Having spent a lot of money on what was apparently a high quality 3 piece suite from the Basildon store we have found this not to be the case. They have done the bear minimum to get out of the warranty period before accusing my wife on the phone today of being a liar. “Absolute garbage!”

I bought a chair in 2016, on 2 separate occasions their upholsterer has added extra foam and made repairs etc within weeks of purchase. Im now left with a chair which is like sitting on a sack of flour. My arms and legs go numb after sitting on it for a while. Their head of customer service was exctremely rude.
