I have purchased a clearance set of furniture from dfs Oxford via the online centre. They were supposed to deliver within a few days I was told by the online sales dept. they actually took two weeks and were supposed to deliver today between 8 and 11. Needless to say I have no delivery. I received an email yesterday at 5.36 telling me to phone two numbers. “Will never buy from here again”

Ordered and paid for new sofas costing thousands of pounds from York Clifton Moor store. Was told they would take 4-5 weeks to build. The current ESTIMATED delivery is currently three months later despite receiving a notification that they would be delivered on time as planned. Bought 2 illumino sofa's and 1 chair,experience in show room couldn't fault staff very very helpful, friendly, not over powering, and advise brilliant. I'm only glad I payed directly for my couch or would still be paying for something that I can't use.Two years after buying my two two seater leather couches I realized with horror that the seat I used had thinned and frayed so the black leather looked grey and threadbare.I live alone and out a lot but wondered if I'd managed to catch it with something and damage it..not to worry, that's why I took out accidental damage cover for just such a reason.I contacted the store who sent me a letter… Read Full Review

“No stress at dfs!”

No hard selling in store, staff were warm and friendly but allowed us time to look around the store ,they were there if we needed help or advice yet gave us plenty of time and space to decide what or if we wanted to purchase. This made our experience very relaxed. Delivery was fantastic. On the date stated, and by a fantastic delivery crew who unpacked and set up our furniture and took away all packaging. “cheap rubbish”

I purchased a corner unit and chair in red leather almost 2 years ago after 1 year the part of the couch I regularly sit in started to sag and I am only off average weight also the arms of the chair you could feel the framework pushing through the padding. Purchased 2 & 3 seater leather recliners from the Glasgow London Road store. On delivery they looked fine. First time I sit down I think I'm on a rocking chair as the sliders to protect my wooden floor at a cost of an extra £45 are no use. Choose a sofa from dfs looked lovely, but was told would take eight weeks to deliver as they are made to order, this was fine by me... sofa turned up on time and was delivered and put together by two mixes guy who took any all rubbish. “The WORST customer service I have EVER received!! ”

Upon deliver DFS left a hole in our wall (not the end of the world) HOWEVER 3 months later and we are STILL waiting for it to be sorted and money to be compensated. I had a sofa which was fine but paid nearly £800 for a bed that was an appalling standard. Customer services is dreadful when things go wrong. They want you to take a day so that someone can inspect your faulty furniture and this could be in a weeks time. Poor customer service policy and support. They would not let me cancel the other orders i placed because i was not impressed with quality of the bed I was delivered. “Don't have the insurance”

Store staff were as good as you would expect, furniture came before delivery date so that was good the only thing I regret was taking out insurance against damage.
