Terrible bed , tv motor started to play up and has completely gone now ! Paid £500!for the better mattresses waste of money couldn't sleep and woke up in pain had to replace them . Purchased a sofa that cost over £4000, received a phone call to say the sofa was being delivered on the Saturday so j arranged a disposal of my old sofas! On the Wednesday I received another phone call to say that the leather was delayed and it may be another 6 weeks!! This was after the store had confirmed a delivery slot! “Appalling order & delivery service”

We ordered our lounge suite at the end of January 2016 - and it's only just been delivered in the second week of August! Initially there was some problem with the order that was placed to the manufacturer, and this was rectified by a lovely Store Manager, although we were told we had to wait another 9 weeks! 1. I purchased a sofa furniture from DFS on Barclays finance. 2. 3 weeks the skin of the furniture was peeling off 3. I contacted DFS, they came and applied some sort paste on the area. 4. Ordered a sofa which was delivered on the date expected. Had to be taken in through patio as delivery drivers couldn't get one piece through door to sitting room. On assembly 2 bolts were missing. On buying my perez corner sofa 3 years ago I thought the sales person was lovely, coffee on offer and couldn't do enough. I paid extra for firmer seat cushions and fabric care. “Buyer beware u wont get a refund if your suite collapses.”

Having been ill over xmas i thought it a good idea to buy my suite on line, little did i know. i orderd the angelic 3 seater sofa, arm chair and puff costing over £1,300 which arrived several wks later. I am like others one of DFS victims and would like to take DFS to court, for not taking its responsibility and the cause of suffering of many customers.
In order to take matter to court and take a collective steps, we need to have point of contact.

We ordered a three pce suite and were very specific about the date of delivery as carpets were to be fitted, plus we had a wedding etc going on. “Misleading sales man”

I ordered a moray 2 seater in a light tartan pattern, I asked about getting the storage foot stool in the same pattern, He said it did not but the oatmeal is recommended colour to match the light tartan and showed me the fabric samples. “Poor quality leather sofa! They are cheats!!!”

Bought my leather sofa 6 weeks ago. Part of the order was delivered and one arm chair will be delivered in 4 weeks time! I paid extra for an upgraded leather. Sold by dfs staff claiming that the leather lasts longer and is very strong. On the delivery day noticed that the sofa had different leather on the arms and the cusions. “Sale price but not for me.”

Paid £1700 for 2 new sofas but both were damaged when delivered. Paid £100 for 4 matching cushions but 3 didn't match the sofas. I rejected the total order and received a credit towards a different purchase. I chose a different style of sofa and paid £1100 more. I have been given different delivery dates and was not happy to wait more than 9 weeks for delivery. Firstly check the other trust pilot reviews under slightly different company name/headings and you will see they are a 1* company or would be less if that was possible. I've never had worse customer service and dealt with a company so dishonest as DFS. So much so that I will be submitting a formal complaint to the Furniture Ombudsman and Watchdog. I was really happy with all aspects of buying a sofa through Dfs. With little money I bought a sofa with the interest free credit on a sale sofa, which I was a bit worried about as it was online and I hadnt seen it yet. It took less time than quoted to make. “Allergy to sofa”

“Shoddy Workmanship”

I have had 3 sofas from DFS over the last few years, 2 in the last year (the last one being a replacement for the previous sofa that lasted 6 months, before the frame cracked). Each time a sofa has been delivered, I have had to call someone out as the quality and finish is always extremely poor - Loose or missed stitching etc. I would not recommend buying a sofa from here unless its for a spare room and no-one will be sitting on it… Read Full Review
