Purchased sofa online and was delivered June 2014. Straight away cushions went lumpy and saggy as well as fabric stretching and wearing. Upholsterer visited and told me I wasn't maintaining it enough and that the cushions needed to be taken out of cover and pulled apart every day. My niece bought a new flat and was really excited about the new leather Domain sofa that she had purchased from DFS. So when it arrived she was amazed to find the state it was in. “Hidden Costs with a £3k Bachelor Sofa”

We praised Dfs for their Sales Service and delivery service. However, despite sharing information with the Salesman what type of sofa my husband needed for a bad back, there was absolutely no indication how heavy the sofas would be. We just can not move them. YES, agree - absolutely ridiculous you spend £3k on sofas - then you have to spent £60 to just be able to move them, their mistake for not telling you so as a gesture of goodwill, they should be giving you them for at least 50% if not free! Avoid the Dundee story - far too many poor reports of their aftercare service - experience has proved, not interested....go to Harveys!

“apsolutley shocking sofas”

Bought 3 & 2 seater leather sofas... within 6 month the leather started pealing, phoned them they came out & PAINTED the peeled patch!! Happened again a few month later, they took my sofas away & re leathered them. “DFS not fit for purpose, do not buy”

We bought a nice looking, brown, fake suede corner settee from DFS months ago for about £800. When it finally arrived we loved how it looked and it was very comfortable, however after just 2 weeks there were imprints, with the fabric sagging considerably. This settee will clearly not last long and is not fit for purpose, so a breach of the Sales of Goods Act. yes well tell them you want your money back in full a bought a sofa with them and they kept sending some one out told them in the end I got n 1 form from the county court as soon as they seen that I was taking them to court I got a full refund money has just gone into my account don't let them mess with you write to head office tell them you are taking them to county court they don't want please do that you will get your money back hope this helps you

Visited three stores to view a large cabinet as big purchase of nigh on £1,000 all 3 stores didn't have one on display even though DFS advised they did, did round trip of 120 miles! Took a chance ordered it by phone, 10 week wait, had my money, ordered black, turned up it was white! Taken away, must add delivery guys brilliant & polite. Was advised 6 wks delivery took nearly three times that, received 2 wks before xmas on receipt of this sofa we realised that the delivery men had torn all along the bottom of the settee and not said anything, fitted the feet and left it was only by chance this was spotted. “Dfs advises me to beat the sofa up to keep it plump”

Bought our sofa for £1700 from here 2 years ago, bearing in mind it was a fabric sofa and it was a 2 seater plus 3 seater. After 6 months some of the stitching came undone and then slowly the material inside began to lose its structure and it was all saggy! after a year all the stitching down the middle came undone because it was just too saggy. Do not buy from DFS. Such poor quality and after service. I bought a dulux sofa bed from them on line I couldn't get to a showroom so went by the description and ordered a dulux sofa bed. Duluxe is not a word DFS have ever heard of. I no what your saying a bought my sofa from DFS came on the 4 dec 2014 its a corner sofa cost me £1200 pound paid cash had them out three times it all made cheap all the backs are sagging material is so cheap got them coming out again on the 24/4 2015 to look at the sofa again I want them to take it back and want my money back if not I am go to take them to the county court there not getting away with it

tell tem to take it back you want a full refund tell them you will take them to county court write to head office tell them you are taking them to county court the form is n1 form but they will not let it go that far a bought a sofa of them 16 weeks ago no good they came and pick it up last week money back in my account today don't let them mess with you they are no good as far as sofas go

Buying a suite off dfs has been a nightmare. The suite arrived and within days we noticed the build and comfort quality was deteriorating rapidly. The cushions were flat and remained that way even after trying to plump them up.
