“Poor workmanship and service”

chair come broken, had to be fixed, a few months later zips failed, had a nasty manager try and tell us it was our fault. They did come out and fix after a 6 week wait. The inside foam is falling apart after less than 12 months, wont fix or replace that, so bad we have to replace. Never have I had to deal with a more unhelpful company. “Deluxe Corner Sofa Bed”

I have purchased recently being June 2015 a Black Deluxe Corner Sofa Bed. It states on the website as being Deluxe option, with having frequent use. We spent over £2000 half paid cash, asked if ther was a problem as we live in a flat,was advised it was all fine.my brother in law came over & said it wouldn't go in so,we phoned again to check & was reassured it was a modular sofa so would be no problem. ordered over 12,000pounds of items, was told BEFORE I paid for them they would be delivered within 14 days.......great I thought...I paid the money and then waited and waited.....sudderely 14days turned into 30+ days, no warning nothing, no explanation but..." there hand made " although you can have express delivery on them...still over 30+ days though. Went into DFS saw a coffee table I liked and wanted to buy. Table arrived to my home 4 weeks after the order and payment was made to DFS and the table was damaged. They said they will replace with a new one. I asked for a refund . If they cannot be bothered to deliver first class quality expensive goods, they do not deserve my custom . “delivery was a joke !”

Not happy with dfs at all!!! The delivery people were not trained and ripped my sofa pushing it through the door so hard ! Then refused to remove the arms and take up stairs !! Had to be re delivered and they re delivered it days later so was sitting on the floor for days!! They deliver the same damaged one ! “Was mislead by saleperson”

I have recently purchased two sofa's from DFS, i wish i hadnt. After 2-3 months of use the sofa i sit on has sagged and creased. After phone call to the manager i got told its says on the purchase receipt it softens over time. Yes, i said i agree sofa's soften over time like a few years but not after 2-3 months. “5 year warranty not worth paper it's printed on”

We bought a leather suite from DFS a year and a half ago. After a year some of the stitching started to come away and the leather was starting to fade. We didn't rush to call DFS as we had bought a 5 year warranty. This turned out to be a costly mistake. DFS has a standard 1 year warranty and a 5 year warranty that covers hardly anything. we went into leeds we picked out a perfect sofa for us we paid £1500 cash was told it would take 28 days to arrive. they arrived after 34 days put sofa in then asked for my husbands card eeeer u didn't mention that bit so had to take sofa away agin brought it back 4 days later when hubby was home broe the zip on back cushion 7 weeks later they ame n fixed the zip. puffiness in arm went 8 weeks later theres nothing they can do without giving us a new sofa stil waiting on that to be sorted AVOID… Read Full Review

“DFS made us ill”

Had foam replaced in our sofa in march 2015. Few days later itching, rash, runny nose, chronic headaches, chronic cough, fuzzy head, fizzing in my nose, muscle pain, flu type symptoms the list goes on. Ended up in A&E. Had a reaction to 6 chemicals found in foam by trading standards. DfS still will not except any responsibility. “Dishonest DFS fabric protection plan + Easi glide”

Sales people are polite of course. I bought a 3 seater fabric sofa. They sent a fabric protection sample by post which instructed you to pour water on it to see how it works. Basically the protective coating prevents water soaking through. “Supposed to be a bargain!”

I bought a 3 seater sofa from the Brighton store. Within a couple of months the seats were sagging. I complained and they sent out a repair man. Both the salesman and repair man were professional and polite but after another couple of months I am experiencing the same problem.
