“3 time buyer...never again!”

So this is the 3rd sofa purchased from DFS and the last! So the delivery date came and went, nothing from DFS. So I rang the central number who told me to ring my local store who told me they had not heard form the factory. Okay so email the CEO to be told they should know in 3 weeks from the factory when they can expect delivery; and then they can look to arrange with me. Oh my god I'm having same trouble only worse they deliever the wrong sofa assured me to take it and new order would be deliereved straight away as soon as it was ready since then I've went around in a circle it's such a long storey but now anyway I went to store went mentle only to be reassured my order was going through that day would be deliever this Friday I phoned today for an update apparently there has been a glitch in the computer system it was never ordered I'm moving on to a solicitor I'm so angry right now I just order 1200 euro curtains to match my new sofa and lots off other things and now I'm stuff with a multicolor off everything

To who it may concern at dfs head office, this is my Navona power recliner and 2 seater fitted sofa I purchased from you delivered the 27th April 2012 with a five year leather care cover that was paid for on top of the value I paid for my suite and pouffe £2,122. OK, so thus far, we have ordered sofas from DFS (one 4 seater and one 2 seater) and were informed that it was very likely that we would get the sofas early, but if not they would take 6 weeks. Ordered a Kennedy two sweater sofa and a foot stool in ranch hide. Initial delivery quoted was 4 weeks but this was then almost 6 weeks - reason given was that a ship couldn't land. An excuse I note that DFS used back in July and still using in August. On the news I note that other container ships had no trouble landing complete with unexpected guests of immigrants! Purchased 2 x Wade Leather Sofas earlier this year from DFS (lrg & Med).. the 'Old Kent Road' shop salesman was superb and so very helpful, the delivery was ontime and by perfect delivery men, so far so good I though!... We ordered a sofa from the Romford store delivered via Basildon in Feb 13. We never used the sofa until the Aug as we had to have unexpected construction works carried out and the sofa was stored in the dining room until early August. Moved into a new house and ordered the Charcoal Cuddler Sofa and 3 seater lounger from the Escape range online after seeing it in a store. Beautiful sofa and absolutely fantastic service. Unfortunately already before our second payment has been made it looks scruffy. The chair cushions look a little matted and out of shape. “Very poor customer care after you sign the contarct ”

I was misled when I was persuaded to purchase and sign a very expensive contract, I was told I would get a discount if the range I purchased was reduced before delivery, the range I purchase was reduced by hundreds of pounds just after I signed my contract but I was fobbed off and told bad luck. “Do not do it customer service ?????? What customer...”

We have had the same ongoing problem with DFS. they have carried out several repairs and we waited about 10 weeks for new insides to be fitted,this lasted 6 weeks. ours was a red Casino sofa,both had the same problem. dont hold your breath , they will do nothing about it, my problem has been ongoing for 18 months. they kept making us wait for each repair.we have now instituded legal proceedings against DFS, and im wainting for my day in court with all my photographs and documents. My advice,dont wait like we did. Scarborough

Checked with store we bought from today who said there had been a "slight glitch" and our sofa had been recently delivered to the wrong address around 40 miles away and returned to the depot. “Bad quality leather”

One year ago bought a very expensive leather reclining suite from dfs, payed up front didn't use credit offered. Well what can I say nothing but trouble with it. The leather seems too be peeling, service manager been out and repaired it but saying it was my fault cos something had been spilt on it breaking the seal. I have had my leather sofa and 2 recliners for 6 months and the leather is peeling off both chairs. Waiting for manager to visit next week. I am not happy, paid a fortune and when I rang up to complain they were very blasé. There seems to be hundreds of same complaints on.-line so why isn't is getting rectified

“Cheats - DFS doesn't honour Distance selling regulations”

I placed a phone order for a recliner sofa to be delivered after 11 weeks. At the point of sale, the salesman clearly confirmed that as per Distance Selling regulations and also per terms and conditions on DFS website, I can cancel the order until 14 days after delivery. I have ordered a Supreme 3 sitter(£1,699!!!) power recliner with extra sit(£599!!!) inside in the beginning of 2014, for my boyfriend's BD. He is tall, so sofa was meant to be long, as 4 sitter.
