Firstly check the other trust pilot reviews under slightly different company name/headings and you will see they are a 1* company or would be less if that was possible. I've never had worse customer service and dealt with a company so dishonest as DFS. So much so that I will be submitting a formal complaint to the Furniture Ombudsman and Watchdog. “Leather sofa”

I was really happy with all aspects of buying a sofa through Dfs. With little money I bought a sofa with the interest free credit on a sale sofa, which I was a bit worried about as it was online and I hadnt seen it yet. It took less time than quoted to make. Organising delivery time was simple and the customer service team was very helpful. “Allergy to sofa”

Received our sofas this weekend and was thrilled with them. The only issue is that my partner has severe allergies from out of nowhere whenever he sits on the sofa. Has anyone else ever experienced this? “Shoddy Workmanship”

I have had 3 sofas from DFS over the last few years, 2 in the last year (the last one being a replacement for the previous sofa that lasted 6 months, before the frame cracked). Each time a sofa has been delivered, I have had to call someone out as the quality and finish is always extremely poor - Loose or missed stitching etc. I would not recommend buying a sofa from here unless its for a spare room and no-one will be sitting on it… Read Full Review

I saw so many not so good DFS reviews. Do not let this put you off. We went to Trafford store and over two visits the person I dealt with spent approx 3 hours with us. He was so patient. We bought keeper range one cuddler, one three seater and one single. It was in sale. There is deep proper foam in the seats no fibre, solid fibre backs- apparently best for comfort and duck feather filled end cushions- bolster cushions. “Easy gliders”

Please don't fall for these easy gliders that the sale people try to sell you they are not worth £45 yes that's right £45. The sales person will show you how easy they are to use in there show room, but they don't work when you get them. I wish now that I asked to see them in the show room as the cheap shops sell these at a round a pound. I was very happy with the way we were treated in the measham store, the guy was extremely nice and polite and made us feel very welcome. He explained everything in detail of how to look after the sofa and also showed us how to practically do it. The order process in the MK showroom was simple and efficient. We were told it would take 3 weeks to make our sofas. It duly arrived after 3 weeks and the sofas were fine. The whole experience however was spoiled by the rude and unprofessional delivery men. First they dragged the sofa over our threshold smashing the bottom draft excluder. Told 7 weeks for delivery, now been 9.5 weeks. Not kept informed by Sunderland store, I had to keep ringing up. Woman at Sunderland store, very unhelpful and abrupt, wasn't bothered at all about concerns. Expected goods 5 days ago, again delayed, promised a morning call and I'm still wAiting at 12.45 pm. Leather peeling inside 2 years, looked worse than a 15 year old suite we had got rid of in favour of DFS suite. Now replaced it, a man came to dispose of the settee and chair and had to cut settee in half to get it out of the house. The inside had cardboard as a backing and he was able to cut it very easily. “Sofa Beds from Eastbourne DFS and both Faulty on Delivery ”

We ordered a Sofa bed from the Eastbourne branch of DFS and when the it arrived it was poorly made (stitching was no good and there were holes in the fabric) it was also damaged the feet were bent out of shape. They said they would repair it (even though it had just arrived and we had not used it)!!!!!!. “Invincible sofas - total rubbish”

We bought two of the above sofas and i can only say that after two years they are only fit for the bin. They are the most uncomfortable sofas on the planet. After a few months the leather started peeling and it was a lighter colour so looks horrible. They came out to look at it and decided to re-colour it to cover the light patches. “Newbury 3 seater”

Anyone had problems with this sofa comes in two halves which creaks when you sit on the part that joins the two seater bit. This is a manual recliner already had service manager X two to look at it also had some more webbing put on it and according to them it is okay. We bought a sofa four months ago the fabric on it is sagging and looks like something we've had for years . Complained and had a technician out to look at the problem after weeks of asking !
