I found it dry and refreshing, which is nice.
Unfortunately, it scarcely tastes like a cider. I guess some consider this a positive. But in the great tradition of Irish beverages, I was hoping for a full bodied, full flavoured drink. I found it watery and flavourless, with too much carbonation.
I can see why they export it.

I have to admit since first trying Magners last November I've become a fan. What I like about this is the difference in taste to the other ciders I've tried - it's more refreshing and is the sort of drink I'll happily stick with all evening, rather than changing part-way through the night.Magners is the sort of drink I enjoy on a warm sunny evening with some ice.

Magner's is by far my favorite cider and not just because I love all things Irish. Its dry & crisp taste is so refreshing. Snake Bites (or Black Velvet or Poor Man's Black Velvet) is a very close 2nd to straight up Guinness. During the summer, I drink much more Magner's/Guinness than straight Guinness.

It's nice to have now and again, but there are better ciders for taste and money values. Just a reasonably crisp cider, nothing special, less gas than strongbow, not much better tasting.
